Here is my custom case so far using 3 Danger Den Torture Rack Panels

the panels

mock up

off with the tape

the board goes in

Money shot

in with the beast

its alive

More Money shot

hdd mounted and some wire management

view from above

side hatch

Iwill be adding a water loop to it over the summer. also soon I will be going with green LEDs and getting rid of the red

I have not found screws that are the right size and length to mount the dvd yet. all the others I used 6/32 screws and cut them to lenth with my dremel.

ill update as I make changes over the next few months.

Pics fixed. Thanks guys. Tried LonelyStoner's input first and it worked like a sticky dank charm.

First, upload your designated picture to an image hosting site (imageshack, photobucket) and then copy the direct link of that picture. When posting, click the image button beside the blue colored A. Paste your image's direct link there and click insert image.

You might have to split your photo's across multiple posts. There is a limit on how many images you can attach to 1 post.

or if you use a uploading site like photo bucket you can just copy the link to the post but you must use lower case img not IMG in the link and the you should be good to go. i would love to see what your working with.

Ya I was partly inspired by a particular design in a line of Japanese cases called Digital Cowboy. I really like several of their models but cant find them for sale in the states and they get pricey. Ive wanted to do some custom stuff for a long time now so this was a compromise for me a little bit of consumer product with a bit of custom design. I plan on doing more to it some functional and some purely for aesthetics. Now I just need to put my Antec 1200 back togeather and sell it or trade it so I can get some water in there.

Dude, thats a nice rig. I love my torture rack but could have saved a lot of $ doing something like this. The tilted MoBo is epic, I like how everything is lookin at ya, and WCing that thing is gunna be fun. I have been a huge tech bench fan for a while now and really dig the minimalistik design here. Keep it up, waiting for more pics!!!! /drool

Nice job, very creative. One thing that's bugging me though - the PCI slot USB/IEEE placement. As it doesn't appear to be secured, it looks like it would scratch up the acrylic panel fast. And is it even necessary? Seems to me like it would be just as easy to connect cables to the back - plus you wouldn't have stray cables running over the mobo tray. Just a thought

It is pretty stable where it is the way the cables curl under the board holds it in place. I have 6 usb devices plugged in the back and some times need to put a flash drive or such in just quick. it is convenient but I may remove it as I water cool and finish out the case. The most questionable part is no exspansion slot brackets. my 295 just sits there. I was eorried at ist but it is actually quite secure.

Thanks for the comments! ill update soon with more pics. still working on going green.
