Alright, so as I'm guessing quite a few people have done, I have Crysis 2 installed.
However, it doesn't seem to cooperate with SLI. I have the latest beta NVIDIA drivers, combined with the SLI fixes from both NVIDIA and EVGA, but when I enable SLI, the game flickers constantly at an extremely high rate (making it utterly unplayable).
Has anyone found a solution to this yet? Or do we just have to wait for a driver update from NVIDIA?

    Maybe it's a 200 series issue, because I get no flickering with 3 way SLI on my 580's. I'm using 267.46 driver.

    saw this in another post in some forums.. forgot the site.. i only save his post in MS word:

    1. Download 267.24 drivers and install

    2A. Download SLI fix for 267.24 from nvidia and edit Crysis 2 profile with nvidia Inspector

    2B. Create new profile for Crysis 2 with Nvidia Inspector for Crysis2.exe and Crysis2Demo.exe

    3. Set SLI compatibilty bits to 0x02004205
    -Set Anisotropic filtering mode to User Defined/Off
    -Set Anisotropic filtering setting to 8x or 16x
    -Set Number of GPUS to SLI_PREDEFINED_GPU_COUNT_FOUR
    -Set Nvidia predefined SLI mode to SLI_PREDEFINED_MODE_FORCE_AFR2

    That did seem to make it work, but it doesn't seem to be optimized at all (guess that's the best that can be done without an update from NVIDIA though).
    On the first level, the frame rate chugs a bit when running on extreme, but runs buttery smooth on the second level.
    I noticed the same thing with the beta. Pier 17 lagged with SLI on, Skyline ran perfectly.
    Not sure what's causing it, but it's a little frustrating.
    It would appear as though the game isn't using all of my GPU power, since the core temps don't raise as high as they usually do when running demanding games (such as the original Crysis).

    I am not having any issues. But I am on 197.45 and I just use the SLI enhancement patch from EVGA. It seems to be working well enough.

    I'm running 280GTX in SLi.

    SLi did not increase performance for me UNTIL I downloaded the latest eVGA Performance Enhancer.  I'm running 1920x1080 in 3D.  Before I downloaded the eVGA program, I was in the mid 20's.  Now I'm in the low 50's.

    Running on Extreme settings with 267.24 drivers.

    I get massive flickering with 2 570's, and it's not just Nivida cards that have this problem. The game is unplayable for me unless I disable SLI.

    Same problem here.

    Im havign problems with Bad company 2 as well, seems like the most they will run is 45% each and only getting 45fps@1080p according to Precision....
    1kw powersupply, 8 gigs of ram now, new drivers, fresh windows 7 64bit Pro install...  not sure what else could be slowing it down...

    Yeah it's hit and miss with this flicker bug.

    I have it in both three way and two way SLI.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjpN5HoX8xA
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40z5CUUvxsc

    Demo worked great, then they patched the game on day one.

    If you have retail copy, find the original exe on the disc and copy it over, and then disallow the game from internet access. This will prevent the patch when you load the game and you can play without flicker till they fix it. But you won't be able to play MP.

    I'm on steam so I think I'm screwed till they fix it. I could disablke SLI, which makes it work, but with 1/3 the FPS which is not acceptable to me heh.

    Hey Guys
    If your still having probs with flickering/sli etc, then do a clean install using the 266.58 driver, then run the evga sli profile.

    Next, add this Autoexec to Crysis 2 folder

    ********************************************************************************************************
    Note1: I'm running 1920x1200 resolution=fov65. You may need to adjust to suit your own setup.
    Note2: I let my gfx cards/drivers decide which mode to run SLI. I used to force AFR but found both gpu's were being under utilised.
                Letting Nvidia decide = 95-100% usage equally : )
                This SLI setup has worked for both Crysis 2 and BFBC2.

    Finally, replace the system file with this one
    ********************************************************************************************************

    sys_game_folder=GameCrysis2
    sys_dll_game=CryGameCrysis2.dll
    sys_user_folder=Crysis2

    sys_float_exceptions=0
    g_language = English
    con_restricted = 0
    r_displayinfo = 1
    sys_MaxFPS = 999

    Good Luck : )
