Hey guys, I thought I would put a post up on the new SSD case mod I am working on. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the mod
This is just an updated post with new links to the images. While browsing around I realized my images weren't showing anymore.
Before

Goal

Start of Project taking Lexan tracing and then cutting

Sanded

Covering with matte black

Now for the mounting of the SSDs

Now for the mounting in the case

Lights off buddy! All I had right now were blue LEDs, but I have red coming in.

Well, that's it for now. I will post some more pics later.

Even if you went no-lighting this looks SICK.  Can't wait to see it with your super secret side panel.

Thanks feniks! The setup is great! I am at 4.7GHz @ 1.25 v. Temps are between 38-40 idle and 70 max. I still have the bad fan headers, but I dont know if it would be worth RMA'ing. Other than that, waiting for a bios fix for the G510 and auto fan speed.

that is a nice OC! tried pushing it to 4.8GHz yet? it should be around 1.3V vcore.

how many bad fan headers do you have? I would hold on to this board until at least a few more new BIOSes get released and RMA later if needed (with a planned downtime).

    now, just enjoy the setup!

I might just go ahead and RMA it right now. My place in queue just came up for my stepup to the 680 GTX! So as soon as I pay, I may as well go ahead and RMA this board.

    ^nice!
    Enjoy the 680!

If downtime is calculated into the project, because of GTX 680 then yeah, I'd RMA the board just now too. good luck with a replacement, hopefully you get a fully operational board this time!
I am waiting for GTX 670 in queue he he (stepping up one of my 570 cards), eventually want to buy a second one after price drops a bit in a few months.

OK, here is my new rad and fans. Will post some more pics when done. But all in all, starting to come together. It's a black ice 360 with monsoon fittings.  In these pics, I had just set it in, no fans are connected, and I experimented with black hose. Had to order red, and 45deg fittings for the front port from rad to res.

    The SSD mounting looks great.
