Hi,
I would like to install two EVGA FTW 1080TI Hybrid cards (waiting for the delivery) in the upcoming Lian Li PC-O11 AIR case. Unfortunately the case supports only graphic cards with a maximum height of 159mm. If I check the specifications of the Hybrid card I found the following information:
  • Height: 5.064in - 128.626mm
I'm pretty sure that the tube is not included and I have to add 25-30mm.

What did you think - does the cards fit? What is the total height of the hybrid card?

Thanks

Guessing that will depend on what kind of CPU-cooling you go with, and where you plan to the put the hybrid radiators.

    My planning is:

    - both hybrid radiators in the front
    - CPU Radiator (280mm/360mm - I will see which size will fit) on the top

I'd think so given the dimensions of the case.....

I'm sure that I will have no problem with the radiator's...I'm not sure regarding the height of the hybrid:
    Information from your link:

Prob best bet is to call evga and ask.. hopefully you can return the case if it won't work.

The case isn't available yet. I want to clarify before, if the cards fit.
Otherwise I will buy the NZXT H700 case.

Why not just go with the dynamic version?
I'd say worst case you run it without the side panel on.. would suck since its glass but everything is water cooled but would get dusty.

I think it's better to install the radiators in the front (fresh air) and this is not possible with the dynamic version.

... I checked the dynamic version - and it's the same situation regarding the height of the graphic card:

Yes, but thought it would be available now instead of waiting till next month atleast.

Personally I'd say have all rads blowing in. More air in then out would be less dust. Push the heat out threw the small openings in the case.

Nice case.. just cant believe they couldnt give more width for hybrid coolers on gpu's. Gots be as small as possible to look good in the specs.

A review I seen on it stated to remove or replace the front filter as it impedes air flow too much.

Actually I own a Thermaltake View 71 TG - which is really nice. Unfortunately the distance to the front will be too big for the tubes...

??? Seems like theres plenty of spots to mount 2 small rads.

Back and top.. do you have a triple 120 rad aio now right? Mounted in the front/side?

Last resort on your case would be to use a few gutted 120mm fans as spacers to connect the rads to the front. Hit the hardware store up for some long screws of the right size. Cut to length and clean of the threads afterwards.. just measure it all out good cause you dont want too long of screws to where they touch the blades on the rad and damage it.. may cause leaks if you hit the ribs in the rad.

I've used the same plenty of times in the past on rads as spacers. Just find/buy the cheapest 120mm fans ya can for the job hehe.

What did you end up doing, Udo? Using your TT View 71 or did you get a different case?
I'm in the same situation and absolutely tired of trying to find a damned case that's wide enough but isn't a super tower. I'm figuring at least 9.4" is required. My current Phanteks P400s 8.3in wide case doesn't cut it. Need USB 3.1 or and just one side of TG. I'd get the Cooler Master H500P Mesh but no usb 3.1 which is ridiculous.

I don't know why you guys argue this. You're wanting something that is OUTSIDE of the design parameters for a particular size and style of case, then complain it isn't available. If you want custom features and design, order and pay. Nobody is going to design a build a retail case for 3 people. Duh.

Pointing out a fact is not useless son. Complaining that you can't get a CUSTOM case at retail is. You're correct post count does not correlate to the usefulness of a post.
