I know i've seen threads showing off your car but even searching i wasn't coming up with any that weren't more than a few years old, didn't want to revive one.  Anyways, since buying my first car last september i'm finding myself slowly modding my car, so far its been little things but i thought i'd show it off hehe.  Love to see what others have done, list up if you wouldn't mind and even upcoming stuff you plan to do if you have anything.

I've got a 2008 pontiac G6 base trim with the V6 engine. mods done so far include:
  • headlight swap to 6k HID for lows, stock highs and fogs for the moment
  • custom cold air intake with K&N filter(of course)
  • strut tower bar
  • hub caps removed and steel rims plastidip'd white(its only for the giggles of it, i plan on buying new rims next spring and these will be my winter tires)
  • all lettering and gm logos removed
  • pontiac dart on front and rear chrome blacked out, blacked out trim on bottom of window, and blacked out the chrome on the upper grilles
Upcoming mods include a grounding kit, touch up paint for the scratch on the front bumper and to do a little paint trim inside, new rims, body kit.

Not sure if they make after market lower sway bars, would make a nice upgrade in handling.

Tirerack use to have good quality rims for a good price....

Tower bars arent really needed for FWD or Daily drivers, my 2cents.

BTW, is it stick or Auto?

Too much PNA (pain n butt) to swap from an auto.

Just wait till ur next or a 2nd car, nothing wrong having a truck too. Might be able to find "cash" a pre-1980 Ford, Chevy up therd?

Here is my summer car project.
I bought a 98 Volvo from auction a year and a half ago for 175$.
The parts donor car was a 95 wagon i bought for 400$

I dunno, is that considered a MOD?
    We are currently driving it.
It runs great and everything works onw.
The last thing is to replace the wind sheild and then we will decide if we want to keep it or not.
I love doing these projects every once in a while.
This one only took a total of 5 days of my time.
If we sell it, we are looking at a Lexus project car.

depends on the driver and also if the design of the car requires one.

they do make a big difference if you ask me.

here is my new get around car. Its a real gem. Still working on it atm
I have a few of this model +/- 1 model series. Have taken years to "R&D" a standard list of mods that add much performance all round from brake/suspension, engine performance to fuel economy and most importantly reliability.

    Here is my car:

Some day I would like to get this list of things:

    http://www.summitracing.com/parts/dcs-cai4501

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K4V4XI/ref=gno_cart_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER - For the new stero I am getting...

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0079LGMB4/ref=gno_cart_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A12KEZCG9I0IOM - Not the new stereo I am getting for sure, but i'm liking it. Can change the color of it to match....whatever.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000Q0S0S8/ref=gno_cart_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER - Lowering springs (and soon shocks) are only a maybe...

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ED9ZBI/ref=gno_cart_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER - New better headers...

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ECUDGA/ref=gno_cart_title_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER - New better exhaust...which I do need an exhaust, since mine has a leak in it somewhere (I know I can probably tape iit).

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0058J4URC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER - Because they are sexy... and I want an all LED light set up.

None of this is for sure, it's mostly all a pipe dream. Want to do the sway bars, rebadge it to the Tuscani logo's (so much better than the lazy Hyundai H) and plastidip the rims black or white...don't know yet. As usual my dog comes first ALWAYS. So any money I get goes to her first!

This is the rebadge kit. This is whats one a Tiburon (Tuscani) in  Korea and the EU.

haha Theophilus20 that definitely counts as a mod.  I don't think i'd undertake something that substantial right now myself but maybe one day.

and LOL _NITE_ i hate pt cruisers with a passion so even though there is a moose strapped to the roof.... i'd never drive it.

Be cool to see as you do some things to that car CD,  i'd like to lower mine as well but first i want the body kit to see if lowering is really needed at that point.  I'm thinking i still will but don't wanna lower and then find out the body kit hangs lower yet and scraps XD.  Definitely want to replace the exhaust on mine as well, the engine does have a nice deep rumble but the stupid stock exhaust makes it sound all quiet and whimpy.  Gonna go with a dual outlet exhaust versus the stock of singel.

I won't mod the body, I like the looks of it as is, so probably no body kit, no lip kit, things like that. Only thing I want to do is lower it really, and not by a lot.

There was a guy in NJ who converted a Camaro to drive upside down, he raced it in the 24 hours of Lemons race out there.  Pretty cool though I think they said it had a 1.3L Ford Festiva engine in it :(

I don't have any pics but I've always has the modding bug from my old '98 Accord V6 to my 2006 Honda VTX 1300 motorcycle and now my 2007 Suburban LTZ 4x4.

Current ride has AEM cold air intake and Eibach front and rear sways. Flowmaster exhaust kit and headers next and hopefully a SLP Performance EFI Supercharger kit after that.

nice looking upgrades you guys have done!  thats another thing i want to do actually is chip tune on my car.  only issues is there are very few people who have figured out the computer in my car so i have to send the computer in to get the tune done but it will finally take advantage of my new CAI.

You don't chip a non turbo car... you only chip turbo cars and even then...the whole chip scene is gone. People nowadays either use cobb style accessports to be tuned, stuff like Osiris to just reflash and retune the ECU or a standalone EMC like haltech. Chipping your car will not yield in more power.
