This cable supports the full 600W spec, and it solves the most basic problem with RTX 4090 GPUs, which is insufficient clearance for power cables. As we know, there are many RTX 4090 cards that are far wider than RTX 30 series. Not only the thickness and length are important, but the card’s width as well. To make matters worse, NVIDIA’s power adapter, which is added to every RTX 4090 card sold by board partners, needs a few centimeters of clearance on its own. As a result, many new RTX 4090 owners were forced to use their cards without side panels until a solution was found. The 90-degree cable only requires an additional 23.2 mm of space to be properly installed. The connector itself will be available in two configurations, ensuring that it fits all RTX 4090 and most likely RTX 4080 series as well. Unfortunately, the cable is not yet on sale. The company announced that pre-sale will start on October 31st, and can sign up to be notified as soon as it starts. It's a brilliant idea from cablemod.

A welcome solution for FE cards, but, by the looks of it, not usable on AIB cards which have the power connector recessed into the frame :(

How did they even release such a cable design in the first place knowing many wouldn't be able to install their side panels. It's like they designed the card to fit in a deep freezer. I was surprised I couldn't install the side panel on my Lian Li 011 Dynamic XL with the Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC installed!

Ah yes, I hadn't noticed at first that it can angle up or down depending on which configuration you get.

Angling up wouldn't be of much use to those of us sporting air coolers like the NH-D15 :/
I'm not worried as I have a Torrent case which has plenty of room to fit the power adapter without needing a connector (and besides I might not even get a 4090) but it'd still be nice to see a flexible/rotating connector coming out...

I have the same exact card in the same exact case. Had to slightly bend the adapter to fit but it worked.
Wish I could post pictures here.

Did you consider a vertical GPU mount/riser? I'm about to put together an O11DXL with 4090 in about a month, but with a vertically mounted GPU..
