Anyone know where is there a fix for the SLI/Flickering issues? besides a modded ini. file? Im not so good with modding files ect. Is there no downloadable patch or something that has fixed this yet? My first 480 run the game with no issues and the second uses 24%, i can only assume physx or something because my second 480 is set to run the physx as well but is not dedicated....?

Thanks guys

It is a good idea to always choose "Auto-select" for Physix for SLI.  Not doing so and dedicating a card will turn your SLI off.  Dedicating the CPU for it is almost never a good choice.  Your GPU can run Physx much faster than your cpu.  Plus, without a ton of titles using Physx, there is no need for a perment solution (dedicating a card) since your 480s will handle Physx just fine by themselves.

For the Crysis2, You can download the SLi Enhancement patch here.
Also, in your Crysis2 folder there should be two executable files.  Crysis2 and Crysis2 Launcher.  Double click the launcher .exe and it should update if it hasn't done so already.  I know there has been quite a few fixes Crytek has released, but I do not know if SLi was one of them.  I have not had any flickering with my SLi set-up.

i have no issues with flicker and my second 480 is not a dedicate physx gpu, it has just been selected to run the physx instead of the cpu or the first. (dont matter if the first or second runs physx)

my question is if there has been a fix for the sli usage and scalability. the evga sli enhancment does not scale. it just splits the usage between the gpus. fps stay the same.

is there or will there be proper support for sli in crysis 2? please re read first post guys :)

Use either the 267.24 Beta or the 266.58 WHQL drivers. Then install the EVGA SLI Enhancement. Sli should work fine (it does for me, i get double FPS, around 35-40 with 1 card and 70-80 in SLI). Make sure Crysis 2 is fully updated as well.

running 266 now, ran evga sli enhancment and did not see a increase in fps. hmmm. i actually seamed to run a bit slugish with the sli enhancment installed, so i removed it and reinstalled drivers. i think i will play a bit with it and see what happens. even with one 480 running it, i see no lag and graphics maxed out (not that it means much...lol with dx9)

thanks guys i appreciate your time and posts :)

Definitely try doing a custom "clean install" with the 267.24 Beta Drivers. Restart your computer and then enable SLI. Then re-download the SLI Enhancement Patch and install it. Also make sure your game is updated to version 1.2

no luck so far, i guess the sli scaling will be fixed soon. again i get a 50/50 usage with the sli enhancement, but no scaling. weird. getting 70-80 fps with one 480 and the same with 2.

    Alright in my Case, ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjpN5HoX8xA )

What I have gotten to fix this was disabling (in device manager) my 4th physX GPU. That by itself wasn't a total fix, as there was still some flickering in puddles and some massive FPS dips/mouselag near soem light sources.
This second problem was fixed by using SLI compatibility bits of 0x42506405 in nvidia inspector under crysis2 profile.  (thanks Blaire from nvidia forums)

Now my game seems to be running well finally, 120 FPS and no random slowdowns, flicker, or glitchy motion-blur!

Will keep playing to make sure, but after an hour so far so good!
    hope this info helps someone.
