CORSAIR AX1600i is Flextronics. Experts say best PSU manufacturer.
They made nice strong Power Supplies. That mean their 750-850W models should be even better.
Than I read about fiasco with AX860i... Dear gods how many problems, terrible, terrible customer experience.
It's not problem to put 1600W in PC even if 750W is enough, but these strong models are huge and 850-1000W would be much better.
Many people will avoid CORSAIR until they show Flextronics models with same quality as AX1200 and AX1500i in 750-850-1000W.
If AX1500 Titanium get 10/10 score, 1000W should be at least 2-3 % better. But now they force people to invest 450$ even if they use SLI only.
Than Seasonic Prime. 750 and 850 W Prime Titanium get score 10/10. Later Seasonic change something and after 2-3 months show Prime Ultra, 650 and 1000W get 9 performance score. How? Nobody knows. And people are confused, logic it's to ask is it Prime non Ultra better.
It's not big deal if Value is score 8 or 9 or build quality 9, but Performance should be 10. Build quality and Functionality score depend of some factors and many customers think completely different.
At the moment no 1000W Titanium model with 10 Performance score.
I only hope EVGA will continue to launch Titanium models compatible with their cable set.
