Is there any reason why after installing COD MW2 that it is not showing up in the list of isntalled games in the nvidia control panel?  The file location of the shortcut says its to the Steam.exe, is there no actually MW2.exe that I can manually add?  I am using the 195.62 drivers and would have thought that it would haev shown up by default.

Thanks

does MW2 even need SLI? I'm only on a single GTX 260 and was getting between 60 to 250+ fps at 1600x1200 max detail depending on where I am. The game is really optimized.

I agree with ka$h614 though, just uncheck the box and navigate to the game exe location manually.

I don't know where the game exe is.  When i go into the properties of the shortcut I have on my desktop for it, it says its pointing to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe.

Games in your Steam folder are going to be installed wherever you installed Steam:

    %:\Steam\SteamApps\common\

For MW2 it should be here:

%:\Steam\SteamApps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2

For single player you want to point to iw4sp, for multiplayer want to point to iw4mp.exe.  Typically AA and SLI settings in the game profiles work with Steam but sometimes you do need to manually add them or point to the .exes, otherwise you need to wait for a patch.

Sounds like a driver bug, try doing a clean install of them after using driver sweeper or get a different set of drivers

If you have the game profile set to prefer max performance, GPU2 will stay at 3D clocks. I have the same issue with all games if I set them to prefer max Perf. Putting it on adaptive should fix it fer ya. Doesn't do a thing for games that put a decent load on the GPU anyway.
