In 2020 or 21, I don't remember, I decided to update the bios of my EVGA 3060 Ti FT3 Ultra through EVGA Precision X1.
Everything was going fine, until an error occurred and I, in even bigger error, restarted Windows. VGA was with corrupted BIOS. After some research, with the help of the forum, I managed to return to the original BIOS and the board worked...
Today I have an absurd fear of updating bios, so much so that I still have the original one. Is it worth the risk?

    Best case, you will notice no difference.
    Worst case, your card won't work.
    If you aren't currently experiencing a problem which you think a VBIOS update will fix, I don't think there is a reason to update it. Not worth it.

    Video card BIOS 99% of the time do not need updating at all. If it works, just keep using it. There is literally no benefit to "updating" a video card's VBIOS most of the time.

    The question was more because of the Re-BAR that delivers a few more FPS, but I was observing and, for my use (60 Hz 1080p), the risk doesn't make sense. Thanks!
