Wether I am gaming and my game would crash multiple times over or even web browsing, my PC has been recently getting frequent GPU related crashes/restarts.
Some days I could game for 8 hours straight with no issues, other times it would crash every 5 minutes forcing a restart of my PC multiple times, On/Off.

Sometimes it would randomly happen with no resource intense programs open, just my browser watching Youtube with 5 tabs open and boom, my PC would freeze up and crash within seconds with a BSOD (Blue screen of Death). Forced restart.
This would happen maybe once a month, now its happening on almost a daily basis.
I have not downloaded anything that I would deem suspicious in that time. (Only download programs which are verified/well known) etc.
I have also recently done a full PC file/app/OS reset a month back since it was happening back then but with no BSOD errors.

Its been getting on my nerves a bit having frequent crashes just by simply alt-tabbing into a 3d program into my PC BSOD and restarting when this was never an issue and I really do not know if its got to do with software/hardware/driver issue.

Specs are:
X570 Aorus Pro Wifi
16gb RAM Corsair vengeance LPX 3200
EVGA 3070 (xc3) GPU
5800x CPU
Samsung 980 1TB PCI gen 3

When it comes to heat everything looks normal 53 degrees celsius for my GPU.
49-85c for my CPU from idle to gaming performance mode. (Note that the 5800x runs a lot hotter then its other AMD siblings.)

Event viewer shows GPU related issues. I have updated my Drivers to the most recent March 23rd release.

I also wanted to mention I swapped out my Motherboard a while back, since my AIO failed and I did an oopsie that destroyed my old Mobo with water hitting the mobo (not hitting anything else and PC was obviously unplugged)
New mobo works great and no problems with CPU/GPU the following days/weeks, this crashing has been happening not to long ago as of recently and not near the timeline of when I installed the new Mobo.

Posted below are screenshots of the errors I get time to time.

Again I really do not know what causing this error and I have spent literal hours upon hours looking for solutions and not finding any, some are bandage fixes.
Again whats really weird is that some days would go where I have no issues whatso ever then the next day I would have 1/2 crashes and another day I would go and boot up a game and have constant crashes forcing me to restart my PC for a clean boot yet still happening. Its weird and im getting desperate in just buying a new GPU as a whole yet im uncertain if its just my GPU alone...

Full PC file/app/OS reset meaning you did a clean os install? If yes, then I would suggest having your gpu checked out in another known good working pc to see if the issue will follow the card to a known good working pc. If the issue does follow the card then we can be certain the gpu is the issue.

What power supply do you have?

Unfortunately im not in a position to switch my GPU into another working PC,im living abroad in the country side so its difficult, my roomates other PC is severely outdated yet alone won't fit in his mobo/case.

Also its very hard to replicate the crashes as it happens randomly with no actual pattern.

You could try to underclock the card and see if that helps with stability. It might also help to consider using a battery backup if possible since some countries can have power spikes or dips. This is also common on older homes and buildings.

It's also common to have random crashes if you didn't do a full reinstall when you changed motherboards.

My understanding is that that bugcheck code is strongly associated with hardware failure. I started getting that on my 3080ti ftw3 after a year (and had been having all sorts of other minor issues with it since I got it) and ended up RMAing the card.

Run system file checker. Run a command prompt with elevated privileges (as administrator). Type "sfc/ scannow" and hit enter. I had a fatal error crash while playing RE4 remake and then had these errors afterwards. I ran system file checker and it fixed the issue. I'm on the Nvidia hotfix 531.26. I think this might be my issue. You might want to try a different driver after running system file check.

I was getting the ID 0 nvkwhatever black screen/recover a lot with an Nvidia driver a few revisions ago. I rolled back and it went away.

I'd suggest using DDU in safe mode with the internet disconnected and fresh install the latest 531.41 driver (after it's installed, re-enable the internet to your PC).

What version were you on and what version did you roll back to? I was on 528.24 and had no issues. I updated to 531.26 and randomly had the ID 0 errors. I ran system file checker and it fixed some corruptions. I restarted and the problem went away. I think this issue has something to do with Nvidia drivers getting corrupted (makes sense given what I just said above). I might go back to 528.24 until Nvidia can get things worked out.

EDIT: I was also getting errors and crashes on my laptop. I checked event viewer and sure enough, it was the same errors. For that system, I actually went back to 528.24 right when the issues started and haven't had a problem since. Two completely different computers with the same issues, I think it is safe to say that the 531.26 and maybe even other 531.xx drivers are the problem.

EDIT: Mine was for sure the drivers. I just updated to the hotfix 531.58 and the crashes have stopped, including in The Last of US.
