My specs are below. It doesnt do it on any other game, but when I play this one it has sporatic pink shades that happen periodically. I guess you call it artifacting.

Is anyone else having this happen to them. Even with settings low or high, it doesnt matter.

    High settings give me nothing but problems as well.  Not the problems you are talking about, but terrible performance.  It is only a beta so I can only hope things will get better in the final release.  medium settings work great for me.

    I think the SLI feature is disabled for the beta.

    I get black / pink textures in the beta as well.

    Don't forget the beta is a few months old and was only chosen because it was the most stable version available at the time.  Beta is different than demo.

    I dont think any driver has a sli profile for bf2 but the newest ones, if your not running them try em out . im running the 196.21. IT runs fine all except the buggy beta stuff that is to be expected.

    BETA does not have the HIGH textures ... medium is the max it will go.

    I think i know what your talking about, little flashes of light? And black spots? Maybe the occasional black flicker of your screen? Does it more around rocks and smoke?
    Try forcing Dx9 in the settings ini. I only get that with Dx10. And only with that game.

    That's strange, mine wouldn't even run without constant artifacting on 186.18 drivers. I gave in and updated drivers/sli enhancement/new precision and everything is working fine now.

    I lowered all settings to medium and noticed no difference in quality or in the weird color flashes. COME ON REAL GAME!!!

    I had the same issue with the pink and black artifacts or whatever you want to call them.  I upgraded my video driver from 186.18 to latest ones and problem is gone.

    I had the same issue, not only would my screen go black here and there, but would also cause my game to close out every time a new map would load.

    Fix: mydocuments--->BFBC2--->settings.ini
    Find the line: DxVersion=???

    1. Change it to "11" and my card was really flaky and would shut the game out.

    2. Change it to "10" and I could not "ALT+TAB" out of game, but otherwise works.

    3. Change it to "9" and everything works as it should. But has reduced quality in game.

    9800GTX+ (obviously not a DX11 card, but tested it anyways)
