Ok? The queue is moving. At least EVGA is selling directly to members versus bots and scalpers. No one can help that so many people signed up, but at least EVGA allowed the queue to start where people signed up instead of starting the queue from the date that the queue was enabled.

And they have progressed quite a bit, as I have received numerous notifications. Unfortunately for me, I signed up with my alternate email instead of my primary, so I couldn’t purchase.

Does anybody know how to redeem your codes from the EU site?  does not work.

For everyone that had issues with the EU site previously, it was shown that they were using the US website not the EU website.

Are you using the Eu.EVGA.com promotion webpage? If you are following the link on the forum here, I can promise you are not using the Eu webpage.

EDIT: Contacted EU Support and after providing the serial number of the card, and order number, they send the codes! So for everyone in Europe trying to claim from the EU Shop, that's the way.

Random question, which I probably already know the answer to, but...
 
Friend of mine managed to score a 3080 and a 3070 from the EVGA store. He decided to put the 3080 up for sale and keep the 3070, at which point I immediately asked him how much he wanted for it.
 
Bought it from him (bit of a "finders fee" for him, but nothing overly ridiculous) and just registered it but... now realizing that the COD code only applies to the original buyer. Since I've already registered it as having "bought secondhand" even though it was never opened/registered, assume I'm SOL for getting the code? (Not the end of the world, but be nice to get full value...)

You would be out of luck unfortunately, since the code is for the original owner specifically.

The NVidia guidelines also state that there will only be one code per user, so having two cards on one account may have also blocked your friend from getting two codes.

Ah well - assumed as much (and from what I've been able to glean, I'm not missing much by not getting it!)

Ok, I'll connect the dots for you since I have a little extra time today; no worries I do it for a lot of people who aren't capable. Marketing items that you do not have in stock, and promoting special items for those products that aren't in stock is poor marketing to say the least, and unfortunately I cannot explicate further as I don't think the EULA will allow me to speak more plainly. Basically you've got a product, that for all intensive purposes "isn't available" to the average consumer, so giving away "FREE STUFF" along with that, alienates and isolates a greater portion of 'said' population. It would be one thing if it were just a slight delay and backorder situation, however we know for a fact that this was akin to a paper launch and production lagging far behind demand...
 
It only serves to stir the pot and propel the masses into a frenzy of dissatisfaction at this point... same with the release of additional cards in the line (ie. 3060/3070) etc. I'm not saying that EVGA is the only one to blame here, NVIDIA is at the core of this issue, however EVGA must be paying their marketing team a nice sum of money... these guys/gals are most likely college educated and should know better. Disenfranchising a group of people with this type of paper launch with "free deals" is just sloppy and stupid.

I am not sure you actually understand how this promo works. NVidia runs it, not EVGA. Past that, your just upset because of what NVidia did. EVGA has handled the queue quite well since they implemented it, and since other companies haven’t had a system like this, it is strange to say it is mismanaged.

You couldn’t teach me anything I don’t know, so don’t worry about it :-)
