Just thought I would mention that there are several 2080 , 2080 Ti and even a 1080ti in stock right now in the B-stock section. There are a couple 30 series on there now.

Nothing like spending $1900 on a card with known issues that has a 1 year warranty.

Agreed, the minuscule discount on B-Stock is not worth giving up all the pros of paying full price.

Depends what you are buying, the RGB keyboards might be quite a nice addition to my kids PCs, and while I would not be paying $100 for one, $49 or $39 would be doable, my issue is shipping to the UK, the 2080 is cheaper than Ebay for second hand here. No different than using Amazon warehouse here in the UK, regular pay significantly less then current prices, on one occasion i got sent a well used item that was clearly a long term return or someone had switched it out. was returned the next day and ordered anther one which was by that time cheaper... Turned up and look as though it had never been out of the wrapper, although the box had been opened/torn at one edge.

full price, this is not msrp, not way. The 1080ti launch at 699$, and drop after few months. Since the 4 series, the msrp was following more or less the inflation on every launch. The 3080ti should be around 819$ at launch (1400$ now), and after almost 1.5 year, should be a bit lower and on 40 series launch expect to be way cheaper. And this wont happen because of this actual market. and its ok, but people shouldn't be super exited to pay those actual prices.

B-stocks with 1 year warranty and no path to step-up should only worth ~80% of the current MSRP.

Agreed! $10 difference for losing all the warranty and no step-up. Don't know how they came up with that price tag.

If that's the only way to get the card you want I wouldn't hesitate, but I don't value the warranty very highly at all and I continue to be confused by how important that is to people. If your card lasts 1 year it's like 99% going to last 3 years plus.

Because at these prices, any added value matters.

I've used RMA before, and stepped up many. Considering the improved availability, $10 off from the brand new MSRP doesn't justify going for B-stock.

Seems many agree as the 30 series cards don't sell out as fast. The 3070 Ti FTW3 and 3080 Ti FTW3 are still wanting on a dummy to buy them at those prices. Also, yes I have used Step-Up many times.

I can understand your point but keep in mind eBay exists with people buying cards all the time they can't step up on and without a valid store receipt from an authorized retailer. In a way I would trust a B-stock more than I would trust ebay sellers.

Not really comparable. You get the transferable 3 year warranty buying a card on eBay at least, as long as the product number doesn't have RX at the end. I think we can stop defending b-stock prices now that brand new cards are available every day from authorized sources.
