with this bios, whenever i turn on my pc, bios stops and says checksum error, new cpu ram installed, and new sata device and sometimes a couple others, and the random 5 beeps showed back up. 
i updated bios very carefully, nothing changed hardware wise. do i need to remove the battery or something? after it boots and it stops i go into bios nothing is different so i save and exit then its gone till i turn off and turn back on the next day

Try a new battery. Sounds like a dead battery problem to me.

I am continuing our brief discussion from the post regarding Curve Optimizer and the x570 Dark's previous BIOS version (1.04). Unless I indicate otherwise, the below information concerns the x570 Dark's BIOS version 1.07.
 
Curve Optimizer is now working in the x570 Dark's BIOS (version 1.07); however, Ryzen Master (version 2.9.0.2093), despite now having the ability to turn on Curve Optimizer and input or edit CO steps from Windows, cannot successfully do so for the x570 Dark.
 
First: Curve Optimizer now works. I have confirmed this via testing (which revealed that the voltage-frequency curves of my 5950x's cores have shifted as expected in response to inputting Curve-Optimizer steps), in Ryzen Master (which, as of version 2.9.0.2093, can read Curve-Optimizer settings directly from a BIOS), and with a third-party tool (which, like the current version of Ryzen Master can read Curve-Optimizer settings directly from a BIOS):

Second: AMD has added a new feature to Ryzen Master recently: the ability to turn on Curve Optimizer and input or edit CO steps from Windows (or another operating system) using Ryzen Master. But Ryzen Master, with respect to the x570 Dark (with BIOS version 1.07 installed) cannot turn on Curve Optimizer or input or edit CO steps from Windows. Ryzen Master will attempt to do; however, on reboot, when Ryzen Master re-opens, it still reports that Curve Optimizer is off (that, according to Ryzen Master, under "Curve Optimizer Control," "CO Mode" is "CO - Off"). There is a likely reason for this behavior: EVGA has hidden or removed certain settings, typically present in x570 motherboard BIOS via inclusion by AMD itself, from every version of the x570 Dark's BIOS. These settings are ordinarily present in an AMD-included menu/submenu entitled "AMD Overclocking/Performance Boost Overdrive."
 
Please note that I initially believed that Curve Optimizer did not work in the x570 Dark's BIOS (version 1.07) because Ryzen Master was failing to modify Curve-Optimizer settings from Microsoft Windows; however, further testing revealed that manually modifying Curve-Optimizer settings directly in the BIOS does work. Earlier versions of this post indicating that Curve Optimizer does not work in the x570 Dark's BIOS (version 1.07) were solely based on my testing with Ryzen Master. I should not have jumped to this conclusion.
 
Please also note that I have not tried using Ryzen Master to modify Curve-Optimizer settings from every possible set of initial/pre-edit conditions. I have tried to do so starting with the following initial/pre-edit conditions: (a) Curve Optimizer completely off in the x570 Dark's BIOS and (b) Curve Optimizer set to "Per Core," but with each core's Curve-Optimizer steps set to zero. Further testing may reveal that Ryzen Master will work IF different initial/pre-edit conditions are used. I have no reason so far to expect a different result, but, given my previous mistake, acknowledged above, I want to account for the possibility that more complete testing leads to a different result.

EVGATech_Leem, any way the guys can remove the version check from the BIOS Profile import tool.  Super inconvenient when you backup your bios before an upgrade and you can't restore it because the bios version is different.  Wouldn't be a problem if the bios didn't factory reset during the upgrade but I get why its a good idea and I am okay with it but man it really negates the usefulness of the function to save the bios profile to USB.
