I got lucky on the last Best Buy online drop and got an EVGA 3080 ti FTW3 Ultra. After getting it home I noticed it has model number 12G-P5-3967-KB. Is there any difference with this -KB card and the card that has model number ending with -KR? Same exact specs? and warranty?

A different suffix (KB vs KR) at the end could mean the warranty is different, but in this case it doesn't. It just means it was sold at best buy. The warranty is the same as KR.

Oh, and same card specs, right? I actually have a -KR that I got from the EVGA queue a couple weeks ago. 😁 So just want to make sure this -KB is not some lowered spec version or something. 🧐

I know Best Buy get's the KB skus.
Normal/historic and most FHR skus (with exceptions) get KR
a few launch skus, and LHR skus are now getting KL

but what is the significance of the "KH" skus? is this a retail sku similar to BB?

KH is exactly the same as KL, just a Best Buy -specific sku.

Is the -KB sku from Best Buy (12G-P5-3967-KB for instance for the 3080ti FTW3 card) LHR vs. FHR?

It affects things like price matching - BB doesn't have to price match unless the SKU is the same.  For EVGA cards the warranty etc should be the same.  There are some items that have BB specific SKUs where BB will even handle the warranty - my laptop had to go via BB for repairs instead of direct to the manufacturer.

That's great to know.  I was able to buy a 3080ti today from Best Buy (pick up next week at the local store) which I intend to use for gaming.  I'm quite excited to upgrade from my 2080ti (FE) to the EVGA FTW3 card mostly due to aesthetics, but also hope to get a few more fps out of it as well.

I've just started learning about mining (I know I'm quite late to the party) and had a question regarding LHR; if you were to look at HWMonitor, etc. will LHR just result in the utilization showing a lower overall number on the card or does it just drop the actual output (in terms of hash ability) even at 100% utilization?  I'm not really planning to mine on the card, but hadn't found a concise answer to that specific question.  Also, thanks to forum members for sharing your input / knowledge.
