This meeting will probably cover future development and the company's direction. The fireworks associated with the Vega release is probably reserved for Computex.

AMD’s stock begins to bounce back ahead of tonight’s analyst meeting

Earlier this month, shares in AMD took the biggest hit we’ve seen in the last ten years, following what was considered to be a rocky earnings call. However, as of today, things already appear to be bouncing back, with shares in AMD rising by 7.5 percent today during midday trade, ahead of the company’s ‘Financial Analyst Day’, which takes place today in the US.

How many GeForce owners are ready to try Radeon if Vega is better 5-10% than GTX1080Ti on 4K resolution?
Or AMDs "Extreme" platform with X390 chipset?
I know that AMD will not offer best they can immediately with 1800X.
Only I thought they plan to launch some 1900X with higher clock, not Ryzen 9.
AMD most expensive processor with 16 core could cost about 1000$, but version with 10 and 12 cores could be far cheper than Intel Skylake X.
14 cores on 4.1GHz... that's like you invest in fast Xeon or Opteron before many years.
Such platform work years for gaming with insane CPU performance for any task. Gaming is funny task for such processors, they will not work on 20% power.

The Frontier Edition will be a professional version not intended for consumers

You mean Vega 8GB will be presented on Computex.
    That's reasonable.
Computex 2017 should show many nice stuff, new X370 motherboards, X299 motherboards, new memory kits, and Radeon Vega HBM2.
    That's for 2 weeks.

I suppose Vega will have AIO system as EVGA Hybrid, that's advantage.
    And Fury X had AIO.
I would really like to AMD offer performance as GTX1080Ti.
Some people can't add every year 100 euro more for same NVIDIA class and every year their offer have more flaws and cost more.
Now is slower bandwidth and cripple card, before 3 year only memory was lower and GPU was OK, because price jump from 600 to 700 and they couldn't change anything except lower video memory. Now NVIDIA price look somehow harmless, nice 699 euro.
But when you want to buy normal GPU you figure out that model without temp problem cost almost 900 euro.
Because of that if AMD beat NVIDIA for 5% no escusse and I will go on Vega.

If its 5% slower you should still jump ship.
It will be way less money and their drivers for the past 3-4 years have been amazing.
Plus they're working to get Freesync into TV's. The future looks fun and exciting for AMD.

I know I cant wait to build a all amd PC like its 2006 again.
