9800 GT's in SLI all games stutter then freeze

I have 2 brand new 9800 GT's which I am running in SLI and when I play a game (any game) after 5 - 10 minutes the game will stutter then freeze (replaying the last sound over and over) until I reset my PC. Speedfan only logs about 66C but it might not be saving that final log if my PC has to be reset (I dont know much about Speedfan)
 
The GPU's feel very hot, almost too hot to touch when it happens, I dont know if it is an overheating issue though.
 
All my games do this (at different times) GTA IV is the fastest at about 30 seconds of play time, Left 4 Dead 2 is slower at about 10 minutes. I have also had the problem in Metro 2033, Just Cause 2 and Assassins Creed 2.
 
I appreciate any help, here are the rest of my system specs:
 
Asus P5N32-E SLI
Intel Core2 Duo 2.66GHz
Crucial Ballistix RAM (4 GB)
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

    It could be possible that one of your cards is bad. Test them both out individually.
