There's a lot more in the BIOS template that Stray_Bullet referenced such as voltages. We also need to know what model CPU and memory you have. Provide links to web sites so we can read the specs. And then you're going to get the requisite questions: Did you test your memory using Memtest? Have you tried booting with only one video card to see if the 2 cards might be a problem? Debugging a system is a lot of trial and error, removing devices to see what effect it has on stability.

tavy08 that i do not, the system is running really steady now, i had the two video cards with the sli bridge on it does that make a difference? It makes a difference if you have enabled SLI for it to work. At a minimum install Everest Ultimate and keep an eye on your temps.

This is the situation...we cannot assist you properly without a completed BIOS template..it is that simple. Please read the following and follow it to the "T". Now that you know how to find your BIOS, you need to enter it and write down each and every setting that is listed on the below template. If you find it easier to do so, copy and paste the template into a Notebook or Word document and print it out, then go into your BIOS and fill in each line by hand, then log back into the forums, copy and paste the template again in the response box to this thread and fill it in using what you hand wrote down. Please list all numeric values next to the word "Auto" that you see next to a setting in your BIOS...do not delete the word auto, or we will not know that it is an automatic setting and not one that you manually changed. List all of your hardware to include the RAM brand and part number. It is written on the stick of RAM, if you do not have the packaging. Please list the recommended timings and voltage that is written on the stick of RAM. To find your BIOS version, which we must know, when you first boot your PC, it will flash rather quickly toward the top portion of your screen. It will say DZ15, DZ17, etc. We cannot help you without all of the information that I have just requested. BIOS Version: P0 * **System ** CPU Freq, MHz: * GHZ FSB Reference Clock, MHz: **** CPU Multiplier: [ *X] PCle x16-1 & 16-2, MHz: [100] PCle x16-3, MHz: [100] SPPc->MCP Ref Clock, MHz: [200] nForce SPP --> nForce MCP: [5X] nForce SPP c-- nForce MCP: [5X] **Spread Spectrum** CPU Spread Spectrum: [ Disabled] HT Spread Spectrum: [ Disabled] PCle Spread Spectrurn(SPP): [ Disabled] PCle Spread Spectrurn(MCP): [ Disabled] SATA Spread Spectrum: [ Disabled] **FSB & Memorv Config** FSB - Memory Clock Mode: [ unlinked] FSB - Memory Ratio: FSB (QDR), MHz: [ ****] Actual FSB (QDR), MHz: **** x MEM (DDR), MHz: **** Actual MEM (DDR), MHz: **** P1: [ AUTO] P2: [ AUTO] **Memory Timing Setting** Memory Timing Setting: [ manual] tCL (CAS Latency): * tRCD: * tRP: * tRAS: * Command Per Clock: [ *T] ** Advanced Memory Settings ** tRRD: [Auto] tRC: [Auto] tWR: [Auto] tWTR: [Auto] tFAW: [Auto] tREF: [Auto] tRFC: **System Voltages** CPU Core: [ *] CPU FSB: [ *] Memory: [ *] nForce SPP: [ *] nForce MCP: [ *] GTLVREF Lane 0: [ Auto] GTLVREF Lane 1: [ Auto] GTLVREF Lane 2: [ Auto] GTLVREF Lane 3: [ Auto] **CPU Configuration** Limit CPUlD Maxval: Disabled Intel Speedstep: Disabled xPPM Mode: [Native] CPU Thermal Control: [ Disabled] C1E Enhanced Halt State: [ Disabled] Execute Disable Bit: [ Enabled] Virtualization Technology: [ Disabled] CPU Core 0: [ Enabled] CPU Core 1: [ Enabled] CPU Core 2: [ Enabled] CPU Core 3: [ Enabled]

Fort starters change this to 2T: Command Per Clock: [*T] 1t There are cases where 1T works, but it is more typical to have it at 2T. It's worth a try anyway. After you make the change in the BIOS, you will have to press F10 to save your changes. thorne

The following is not your BIOS version. In my above e-mail I state that it will begin with DZ--. Please try again. BIOS Version: P0 * 1.06.78 Additionally, you did not answer the above questions...please list all of your equipment and list the amount of RAM you are using along with the brand and model number and the manufacturer's recommended timings and voltage. I cannot not give you recommendations on your RAM settings without knowing what you are using. Make the following changes that are listed below in red and in parenthesis: FSB Reference Clock, MHz: **** 800.0 (1066) HT Spread Spectrum: [ auto] (disable) PCle Spread Spectrurn(MCP): [ auto] (disable) SATA Spread Spectrum: [down spread] (disable) FSB - Memory Clock Mode: [ auto] (Link) FSB - Memory Ratio: auto (doesn't say current value (Sync) FSB (QDR), MHz: [ ****] 800.0 (1066) Actual FSB (QDR), MHz: **** 800.0 (1066) x MEM (DDR), MHz: **** 1333.3 (1066) Actual MEM (DDR), MHz: **** 133.3 (1066) P1: [ AUTO] (enable) C1E Enhanced Halt State: [ enabled] (disable) Execute Disable Bit: [ Enabled] (disable) I need to know what the manufacturer's specifications are for your RAM. Set the below settings with question marks to the specs of the RAM (it is written on the sticks). If it is 9-9-9-24 @ 1.5v then leave it as it is. Memory Timing Setting: [ manual] tCL (CAS Latency): * 9 (?) tRCD: * 9 (?) tRP: * 9 (?) tRAS: * 24 (?) Command Per Clock: [ *T] 1t (2T) Memory: [ *] 1.500V (?)
