The classy does seem more....classy.

*badum tsh*

but the directCU II's cooling on air is great. 1300+ mhz overclock and max temperature during firestrike was 52celcius.

so bench result as far as I could overclock of 680 was 3807 on firestrike extreme.

evga 780 ti classy = 5525 pure stock.

quite a improvement.

Been fiddling around with overclocking it.

Precision X is a horrible program to me.

I have no idea how to set profiles and just. GPU tweak was much easier to work with. plus the performance monitor had everything in it instead of just power, gpuclock and memclock. but it's mostly the issues that I am having with actually using the program.

random glitching. like sometimes for no reason it will only run at like half the clock speed(580ishmhz) with 0,9V. like seriously ****? The overvolting tool is utterly useless. I set my +75mv and click apply. nothing. still 1,17v once in a while after button mashing the button while firestrike runs windowed it will stick and the GPU is running at 1,21V but lately its been impossible. My core is running at 1269ish and crashes at the end of a firestrike run so I think bumping the voltage to 1,21v will probably help alot.

Doesn't matter if its K-mode or not. K-mode gives more problems than solutions with black screens (thus havign to reset) the gpu and volt being all wrong. I got it working now but again. overvolting doesn't work.

I am running the updated EVGA bios which is on the LN2 bios.

It's pretty damn annoying. I want to check the limits of my card on a "normal" voltage before I start using the classy tool.

none that I Can hear. when I first got it and I used the GPU burner tool I listened with my ear next to the case and I didn't hear any annoying noises other than air and fan.

I never had it on the first bios to begin with so I have no idea.

1150mhz boost was my starting boost.

Mmmm.

if you use the stock fan profile I think it was around 80ish.

I am now folding @ 1254mhz with fans at 100% and its pretty quiet I can hear it spinning but its not annoying.

It's hovering around 70ish right now.

I was able to overclock to around 1350ishmhz before heat became a problem.
