Not exactly sure where to post this as there seems to be no real good place for B-stock discussion.  Anyway, just curious where the B-Stock cards come from?  Customer returns or Step-up program?

Thought I would take a shot and get one of the 780 (not Ti) Classy and got it last night.  Haven't done any overclocking or benchmarks yet, but seems to be a really nice card.  89.3% ASIC, Samsung memory and boosts to 1146MHz @ 1.149V (I think).  This was on the stock LN2 BIOs with 115% power target.  Hope to try some overclocking tonight, hoping for some good results.  I can post back some results if anyone is interested.  Don't really plan on flashing a different BIOs, but will give the voltage controller tool a try.

I know the 780Ti is the rage now, but can't justify the performance vs. cost and the 780 Classy B-Stock seemed like a deal to not pass up.  I know resale will take a hit with only 1 year warranty, but I plan on keeping it for long time and hoping to grab another to SLI soon.  Also, hoping to go under water at some point in the future too.

Not for the EU, seems our bstock is limited to mb's and 450 fpb and lower.

It is my belief that b-stock are cards sent back under gtee and found fault free, step-up's and generally anything that goes back to EVGA (shop returns ect)
They then are fully tested warranted for a year and sold at a discount.

But I could be wrong lol

I know...they popped up a couple weeks ago.  I was willing to take a gamble and see what kind of card I got.

I was thinking the same thing really, but was curious if anyone knew more specifically if that was the case.

I definitely agree, that would be a nice option.  Especially since these cards or so new, it kind of sucks that only have a 1 year warranty now.  Oh well...

I ordered a 780 b-stock as well for a new build. I was just curious if I might need to pick up any connectors or anything that may be left out since there are no accessories with it.

That is correct. the newer PSUs should have more thn enough PCI-E cables for SLI or single video card use.
