to oc your cpu, do the following
(only if you have a aftermarket cpu cooler do not use intel stock cooler) 1. disable thermal management, intel speedstep, C1E Function in bios under cpu feature
2. then go to frequency/voltage control, Fsb & memory config change your
FSB - Memory Clock Mode to linked
FSB - Memory Ratio to 3:2
FSB (QDR), Mhz to 1600
3. then go into Memory timing setting if you want and set your ram timing to expert and set your ram to whats its rated for (or you can leave it on opitmal if you want)
4. next go into sytem voltages and set your,
CPU core (dont go over 1.3625 intel recommends, i reckon upto 1.4 is safe if your temps are fine) try current value then work your way up 1 notch at a time until its stable
CPU FSB set to 1.3v
Memory set to what ever your ram need for 1066
these settings will give you 3.2Ghz on your cpu and your ram @ 1066Mhz
use coretemp to monitor your temps (
http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/) and use prime95 (
http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=205) to check for stability
as i said in my last post only use the 2x2gb of ram it will be easier to oc that way
