So I received the modDIY power cables for my 4090s. 
 
configured with 600w full power each, the corner / bend of the cable happens easily just from gravity. Cables (without sleeving) feel (compared to sleeving) light as hair and just as flexible. No stress on the 4090 sockets.  
 
I was going to get the right angle adapter from CableMod, but now that the cables are here from nodDIY I no longer see the need for the right angle adapter from Cablemod.

My concern is modDIY cables are to two 8pin whereas Cablemod cables are to either a 4 or 3 8pin. Just makes me wonder why the major difference.

If your PS shares a common 12v rail and the cable wire gauge is good, technically 2/3/4 connectors should work.  Corsair uses 2 connectors for their 12-pin adapter.  My Cablemod 4-connector pigtails into the same shared 12-conductor wire that goes into the card.  I've used CableMod for many builds and trust their quality.  Read positive things about modDIY.

I just finished trying it a bit ago and it acted weird. My 49 inch 1440p monitor would only go to 1080. It was like it couldn't handle the three monitors and resolution.

I have a Evga Supernova 1300GT. It doesn't look like they have the one for my PSU. That is good to know though because I didn't see them before. Only did the custom one and they are not even starting to make them till February.

Interesting.. they only seem to have the 16-pin to triple 8-pin models. The cable I ordered that came from overseas was 16-pin to quad 8-pin (E-Series Pro ModFlex sleeved).
 
They do have a configurator though (link).. if I make up the cable they sent me from o/seas, it costs $54.40 on their configurator.. I paid $29.90 for it (which is the price for the triple 8-pin with 3 combs, mine is quad 8-pin with 5 combs). Winning.

The US site had limited options.  The Global site has all premade and custom options.  I ordered the Quad, but it took weeks going to customs.  Waiting for the Right-angle adapter.

Great job. I find this issue with the 4090 cable  dissapointing all those brain cell working at that enterprise and Yet this is a mistake I find on there behalf to show many IQ working togheter make a mess of things.
