Hello everyone,

I was recently testing my card with my case side panel on (bad airflow) and hit around 85-86*C when on the normal bios with the power limit and temp slider maxed out (+ auto fan curve).
It seemed like the first 2 fans shut off and only the last one was spinning (sounded like max RPM) after hitting that 85-86* .  I tested this 2 or 3 times to make sure it wasn't a "glitch" and was able to replicate it.  My screen didnt go black or anything and I was still able to play the game.
I know those temps arent ideal, but any idea why this happens? Is it thermal throttling to protect the gpu?
I'm on the latest Nvidia driver (460.89) and the latest PX1.

Thanks!

Same here. Even with side panel open and running the silent bios (around 75% fan speed) My temps are 82 to 85 deg. Stock power settings no OC

I'd try a DDU uninstall of the current drivers, and a reinstall with the ethernet cable disconnected to prevent windows from installing an older version before you can install the new ones. If the problem persists, make sure you've updated PX1 and if you already have, uninstall it, reboot, and install it again.

If the problem persists, try 460.79 - I'm not having issues with that version.
