Hey guys,
Here I'm writing again regarding my dying GPUs with the "red light of death" 3 times,
FYI i have two 3090 FTW3s purchased on launch,
one of them works just like a charm from day one but the second was underperforming so had to RMA,
Initially i had both red lips cards so for RMA i received the revised brand new unit with Black lips,
it ran fine until May and it died out of no where with that single red light on the PCIE connector,
RAM'd again and got another one (red lip) and that one died the same way within 4 days but it was a different power connector this time,
it happened every time when they were underload, i ran stress tests and they all ran fine for even 40 plus minutes,
Finally i got the replacement 2 weeks ago and is working just fine including some test, gaming and my work related stuff,
Just learnt that the main problem in these are because of the cheap voltage regulators and stuff, which causes power draw issues specially with one of the PCIE connector,
attaching the image with power draw under load,
does it seems right or should i be concerned as I'm planning to re mount my hybrid cooler on it and its super annoying to remove it if it dies again,
Thanks
