Answered3080 ti ftw3 power requirements?

Do I need 3 separate power lines for this card or just 2, with 1 daisy chained?

    With cards hitting upwards of 400+ Watts I went with 3x dedicated 8 pin.

    Yea, you dont want to accidentally kill your card by loosing power or a power strike. Also, PSU should be around 700 watts preferably

    Minimum 750W power supply.  Regarding 3 or 2 cables, NVIDIA recommends three separate PSU cables from the power supply. 
     
    Check with your PSU vendor to be sure whether you can use two cables (with one connector daisy-chained, as you described).  Some power supplies are not designed properly to handle a load over 2 cables (which we began to learn with the 20 Series).  To be safe, we would also recommend 3, but if the power supply is designed to use 2 cables to cover 3 connectors then it's OK.
