Can we pay Evga to put it together for us and ship?  Yeah I'm feeling lazy...

While I don't know what the product line will look like I would guess we will see a hydro model by EVGA. It doesn't seem like a product that would be at all odd for them to have with the number of people who water cool systems.

I don't have any info on this right now so you'll need to keep an eye on EVGA retailers in the UK.

I'm sorry I probably didn't express my question clear enough.  What I meant was,  you have to actually take apart the card and put on the waterblock yourself correct?   I was curious if you can pay extra to have evga do it for you and ship it that way?

The Hydro Copper version has the waterblock already on the card installed by EVGA.

Thank you!  I was watching an official evga video on how to dismantle the card and put the hydro copper block on and thought that they all came that way.

I'm angsting over whether to go for the hybrid or my first venture into custom water cooling with the hydro.  Thinking maybe starting off a single loop?

Once you go custom water cooling you wont ever go back.

Like you know now, the HC comes with the waterblock mounted.

What that means however is that you don't have an air cooler anymore.
Which means that if you need to sell or give that card to someone, they need to have their own custom loop.

Honestly, disassembling air coolers and putting a waterblock on a GPU is not hard :-)

Some folks do like to to purchase the air cooled version and Hydro Copper separate to give them the extra flexibility should they go back to air through choice or for problem solving or by giving it more options for reselling purposes.

I put a Kraken G12 and H55 onto my 2080 Super and while it's not hard technically, I was panic attacking all the while doing it lol.  That dreaded one little zap/screwdriver gouge/drop to the floor potential

Just question about hydro copper how fitting piece how is this mounted i know corsair block had a flaw with it cos it used only 2 screws for mounting presure, how is it mounted on the hydrocopper and who makes the waterblock ?
Im saving up for new gpu probably buying hydro copper this time to safe all the hassle of doing block my self, im not expecting it to have problems still do like to know.

Also even more important is it with 2x 8 pin i really do not wanna get new cable let alone use an uggly cable, 12 pin is bassicly 2x 6 pin vs 2x 8 pin 2x 8 pin i would assume can deliver more power

Well dismantling the FE cards seems like it won't be straightforward for the 3000 series.

That leaking issue was Corsair block specific because of using clear acrylic instead of acetal and their screw placement. Also wouldn't be an issue in normal use. Anyway, wouldn't be an issue with Hydrocopper cards.

Hoping the 3080 Hydro Copper pricing and availability is released soon.

I have my Alphacool Quick-Connects ready to go. (I can't post a link, but Google: "Alphacool Eisbaer GPX Extension Set 90°").

    Thanks,

Some people also now have the pain of looking at two 2080S Hybrid Shrouds and AIOs taking up shelf space at home.
