Here's mine: 9900K with the ek 360 AIO, in a meshify s2 blackout (closed side panel). Using a Corsair AX 850 Titanium for the PSU. Undervolted it as well, max wattage is down to about 305w, temps are below 70c. Idled at 23c this morning when it was 15c ambient. Running on a X34 (3440x1440/100fps) and it's smashing everything at ultra settings. Set a custom fan curve as well. Using Afterburner.

Time Spy best score was 16112 with a 17368 for GPU and 11429 for the CPU. The lower temp GPU (my last build was nuclear heat SLI 980ti's) helped the CPU boost to 5ghz for the first time (it's stock apart from using XMP).

How do you like that EK AIO?  I'm thinking about getting on myself soon & repurposing my current one to my old system so I can resell it since the AIO in that one is too old to pawn it off on someone else.  What are your max load temps at stock, are you running just pull or push/pull on the radiator?

It's great. I was using a really old Nepton 280L that I'd put Noctua 2000RPM Industrials (I'm now using them as top exhaust case fans in the Meshify S2) that was top mounted and it would regular head above 85c in gaming, and could hit ~90c doing intensive workloads like video conversions or benchmarks.

With the EK AIO front mounted (pull config), they don't hit more than 85c at full load with Cinebench R20. In gaming (eg W3 on ultra) it's staying at around 65c. And a lot of the time the CPU and GPU are both running below 55c.

Noise I can't really comment on too much except to say it's quieter at full speed than the noctuas are and barely noticeable at idle. Most of the time I'm running a ceiling fan at high speed (even during the day in winter I usually have it on low for air circulation), and I have headphones on with the game or music so the noise wasn't a major consideration.

Combining the 3080 running very cool undervolted with the better AIO & Titanium PSU and my new system is outputting a lot less heat than the older build and I can tell simply by the feel of the heat coming out of the case, and back that up with the actual numbers.

Congratulations to those who have managed to get a 3080 FTW3 Ultra. The 3080 is an amazing card and the FTW3 Ultra has a great overclock on it out of the box and I personally like not having that power adapter of the FE card.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

That's awesome.
I can't decide if I should keep waiting for HC or even KP with HC block, or get a FTW3U now and get a block later...

3 more days for me... cannot wait :-D Gonna be working on overclocking the next 3 nights to try & get my system fine-tuned again at 5+GHz, which I'll mostly only use for benchmarks, and maybe some games that actually leverage the CPU heavily.  I'm hoping I can eek out 5.2GHz, never even tried yet.

I really hope somewhere gets the EK AIO in stock sometime soon, really wanna make the change to a 360 but I'm not in a huge hurry, I'd rather wait & get the top quality one available than just buy what's available now.

Amazon finally got the EK AIO in 360mm back in stock, it's direct from EK, and apparently comes with 3 extra fans at no extra cost.  I went ahead & ordered it purely because at that price, with 6 fans, it's a great buy.  Looking forward to it, should be here sometime next week.

Got my 3080 in todae, already ran some benchmarks & she is one fast GPU... looks pretty good too:

Hello, I just have a few quick questions, if you would be so kind to help?

1. Do you completely wipe the old drivers before putting in your new card? DDU?
2. Do you use the latest drivers with the lower boost clocks?
3. How exactly do you undervolt and it  and is Precision X working fine? (people have complained about issues there...)
4. Can you only get the EVGA bonus (watch dogs) when buying from the EVGA US Store? (that would suck)

I'm actually supposed to receive my card today in germany of all places. Germany/EU is supposed to not get any stock I hear. I kept refreshing all the shops :)

Thank you very much in advance.
Kind regards

First, Yes - Definitely do that, full driver wipe before uninstalling the old card & installing the new one to make sure nothin' fishy happens.  I use DDU, some people still use Driver Sweeper, just using the "clean install" check box in NVidia drivers installer does not do the trick though, you definitely want to do some sort of full driver wipe to be on the safe side, especially if you're going from older drivers (like not from the last month) to newer ones as well as a newer GPU, or just going from a much older GPU to a newer one.  Better safe than random errors with no reasoning eh?

To the 2nd one, that is entirely up to you.  As people like Joe from BeardedHardware & others have said, try each driver, see which one works best for you.  Certain drivers may perform better with certain titles until NVidia finishes their drivers completely, which is likely to be not like after the RX6000-series comes out.  I am currently running the latest driver, just to see how it performs, I may try the .55-ones later on to check out the supposed "clock ducking" the .71s are supposed to do.

If you want to undervolt, it's pretty much as simple as lowering the Power Target on the card, I think?  You can't go in to negative voltage on Precision X1 as far as I know, but I'm also still new to using the program.

Lastly, you can get that bonus from any qualifying purchase, it's a thing that's being done directly by NVidia, NVidia has issued a new set of keys to vendors, it IS however a "while supplies last" thing, I got my card (and code for Watch Dogs Legion) today, and it worked.
It depends on where you got the GPU from, whether or not you get a code, I don't know how it would work from a different retailer.  With eVGA Store, I registered the card, and the codes request button just "appeared" on the promotion page, which I was then able to redeem once they were given to me.  Not sure if it still works that way for eVGA cards purchased elsewhere, or if that's handled through NVidia's site maybe?

Oi, how'd you getting the 122% power limit?  You get a fancy BIOS switcher goin' on?  I'm still in a wait & see mode to see if eVGA do a BIOS update like the 3090 got.  Gonna do some custom tuning & see how she OCs here shortly.

Also, what voltage are you pushing for 5.2GHz? I've been trying to see if I can get my 9900K to run at that with no luck so far, but I'm now waiting on "better cooling" before I continue that journey.

Thanks for the long answer, everything works fine :) Sadly alternate.de doesn't seem to give me a Watch dogs code and EVGA.com doesn't want to because I didn't order from them.
The EU website doesn't even show the offer. I think that's kinda unfair. Love how it lowers core to 200 when idle, my 2080TI would stay at 1300 all the time.

You can check on NVidia's website & see if you can do it through there, but I do think it depends on the retailer you purchase it from unfortunately.
Enjoy the card :-D
