As noted in the subject - Is there a plastic film to feel from the silver part of the card with the EVGA logo on it (circled in red below)? It looks like it, but there's no obvious peel starting from here point or obvious edge to pull at. In fact, if what I think I see is a film to be removed, the edge seems perfectly cut to entirely fill that space.

I think there is a peel there if I remember correctly. Just use your fingernail on one of the corners to get it to peel off.

I found it. The peel is like is 99.999% perfect fit so it was challenging to see the edge of it and then grab an edge. Finally did so by lifting an edge near one of the letters.
