3080 Display Stream Compression (DSC) support?

Can anyone confirm that the 3080s have DSC support? I'm looking to upgrade my monitor to a 4K/144 LG that supports DSC, and I want to make sure that the 3080 XC3 Hybrid will work.

    What monitor is 4K at 144htz?only seen lg’s at 120hz 4K myself

    the displayport connections should support version 1.4a which includes  DSC version 1.2a
     
    I don't see the displayport version specificly mentioned in the specs I found, for EVGA cards, but unless they used displayport versions older than what Nvidia lists, it'll support it (in fact I think the only slightly older 1.4 displayport was used on the 20 series card, and it has DSC as well.

    Thanks, I didn't know that DSC was implied by DP 1.4a. The standalone spec sheet for the 3080 XC3 Hybrid specifies 1.4a so it looks like I have my answer!

    All RTX 30 series support DSC I think.
    I'm using the The 27GN950-B myself with 3090. You only have to turn on DSC in the monitor settings and use displayport of course.
    If you have DSC on you can choose 4k 144hz 10 bit full RGB in nvidia control panel. I love this monitor. You also have to use fast response time in the monitor settings, because faster has negative impact on response time. Fast is good enough for 4k 144hz. Faster only exist for marketing to say 1ms! While Fast is 3 or 4 ms which is enough for that refresh rate.

    Samsung 8 series qled from this year are also 120HZ 4K on HDMI 4. But if he is talking monitors and not TVs there are 4K monitors with far higher refresh rates.  Good luck finding something that can drive a good game at more than 120HZ though as even the 3090 can't hold a steady 120 @ 4K in most games.
