The sound is coming from the pump, I have checked every fan. Any idea what I can do to get rid of this noise? Too late to return it.

Where do you have the radiator installed?

What sort of sound? Is it a grinding noise or a 'wet/bubbly' noise?

If it's just air, you may be able to fix it. I've seen some mention of turning the radiator at an angle and gently tapping or shaking it to release the trapped air.

Wish it would let me post the video, it would answer both of your questions.
Ya more like a grinding noise. Not wet or bubbly. I found some examples of that, doesnt sound like that at all.
The radiator is in the front, my case is too small to put it on the top. Mounted something like this.

I would flip the rad to have the hoses at the top. You may have air stuck in the pump that's not able to get out due to the pump being above the hoses inlet/outlet.

Cool I will try that. When I got the thing I inquired a lot about the hose placement, back then I was told to have it on the bottom lol.

You can have them at the bottom, but you first need to get the air out of the pump. You can just take the radiator out, flip it so the air can move out of the pump. Once you have it flipped, turn it on to make sure the air gets out of the pump. Shut it down and put it back with the hoses at the bottom, then power it back on. That should get the get the air out of the pump and keep it out.

Tubes down is the preferred way to mount an AIO. Only have tubes up if tubes down is not possible.

Well flipping the radiator worked for a beautiful 10-15 seconds. A lovely quiet 10-15 seconds, then it started making the same noise again.

Interesting, wondering if your cooling system just didn't get enough fluid in it? You may need to RMA the card.

I would try one more thing. Hold the radiator straight horizontally, turn it on and see if the the noise goes away and stays away. If it does, shut down the system while keeping the radiator horizontal, install it back in with the hoses at the bottom, let it set just a bit to allow the air to rise to the top of the radiator, give it a minute at most. Then turn the system back on and see how it does.

Earlier this morning I actually managed to get the radiator mounted to the top of the case. Unfortunately it is still making the noise.
Before I mounted it, I was able to hear some sloshing of water in it. It is really not possible to add any more coolant to it?

That sucks, time to RMA the card.

It's a closed loop system, no way to add fluid to it unfortunately.

I am considering buying the kit EVGA sells. Would that be an option? The RMA process looks like a hassle.

The RMA process goes swiftly once you get the ball rolling. I personally would not spend the extra $130 or more on a new Hybrid cooler and then have to remove and replace the defective unit. This is where EVGA shines and one of the reasons for buying an EVGA product, their warranty system is second to none.

K getting that going now. Filling this out they want a support ticket number, so I make a ticket, now I have to wait for a number I guess before I can submit the RMA form. But I suppose you are right, better to not void warranty and let them replace the pump for me.

It's better to call EVGA and talk to them, you can even point them to this thread. The person you're talking with will get the RMA all setup for you right then and there.
