The EU store, currently lists 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra at 1229 excl. VAT, while the 3080 12G also FTW3 Ultra is 1449 excl. VAT.
For XC3 it's even better, 1099 for Ti vs 1399 for 3080 12G.

I personally don't see the need for the Ti's. This is the manufacturers attempt to scalp and take scalper money.  What is a Ti perf boost?  Like 10%? The price premium is what?  like 20-30%?

The 3080Ti is now $130 over the 3080 12G. 10% more money for probably 10% more performance. Compared to the 10G 3080, yeah, it's a lot more money. But be realistic, the 10G version effectively will probably no longer be made...

The two more CUs it's probably some break even point where a large number of cores reach that during testing, if it qualified for a 3080, it will likely also qualify for the 12G version. Count it as an upgrade even though it was probably just a statistical analysis to come to that number and all current 3080s could likely meet it too? Add on 2G more memory, as the same PCB already has provisions for it to round out the "upgrade."

Let's be realistic though, the market has clearly spoken that is willing to pay $1300 for a 3080 out $1450 for a Ti. Doesn't make sense to leave a $850 price tag on it, from a business perspective. If you have a spot on the 3080 que that's close, maybe you'll still get it, but I'm betting after any 3080 10G stock that's in the pipeline gets sold, VERY few more will be made.

I'm not understanding this part of queue 3.0:
- If you remove one or both of your active notifications, your next notify will be subject to the Queue 3.0 rules.
If I have an old notification, and I have, my new notification about the 3080 12gb is not 3.0? Do i need to delete the old one?

Costs basically the same as the TI in Canada... safe to assume 10gb 3080 SKUs are not going to be produced anymore?

It won't be. That is the ONLY reason this 12gb card exists: to raise the MSRP and retire the old 3080 which had 'too low of a MSRP'.

This has to be a joke... 450$ for 2gb of ram more? you are just as bad as the scalpers. I guess ill just have to run my 1080ti into the ground and never upgrade again since these prices are ridiculous. you have seriously lost your minds here.

I don't agree with the price (costing more than a 3080Ti is insanity). but it's more than just "2GB ram more" to be more accurate.

320-bit memory bus vs. 384-bit memory bus
760GB/s mem bandwidth vs. 912GB/s memory bandwidth
8704 CUDA cores vs. 8960 CUDA cores
 
 
still dumb though since the 3080Ti has the everything the 3080 12GB has, but has 10240 CUDA cores, and launched with a lower MSRP @$1200.
