If you have a valid Windows 7 or 8 license key you can use that to activate Windows 10 still without having to buy it.  You just have to create a USB install disk.

Use the Download tool to make a USB install boot drive.

I just us a 8GB USB Thumb Drive. You may need to use a Friends computer to download and create the USB Install Flash Drive.
