Anybody else getting an exclamation on a "PCI device" showing up in device manager as "other devices" (see image)?

Checking on the PCI device website it shows up as a Nvidia device but there's no entry for the specific device number "1AD7" but the closest one is an entry for the "1AD6" which as you can see is a USB 3.1 device so could this be USB Type-C on the 2080?

If it is what did you guys do to successfully install the drivers for it and if so what should I do to get rid of this issue please?

This is the NVPCC device that is not available on windows 7 or 8 (but 8 and 10 installs XHCI drivers for the hub)

on 7 you have 2 devices in this state.

If you have just done a device swap, you need to run the driver installer again to get the NVPCC driver installed.

which windows 10 Build do you have?
( current driver 416.81 )
For me it looks like this:

CPU: i9-7920X || Motherboard: ASUS WS X299-PRO || RAM: 4x 4GB Kingston DDR4 3200+
GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 XC ULTRA HDD: 2x Samsung 960 EVO NVMe 250GB - RAID 0 & 2x Kingston A400 480GB
PSU: Cooler Master V750

Looks like today's drivers 416.81 sorted the issue for those who are having this problem like me. It seems that if you go from the 1080 the 2080 you need to do a clean install

you don't 'need' a clean install, but its optimal.

you could otherwise unpack the driver installer and manually install that device from the NVPCC directory.
