I don't think the sound card has the 2 pin connector but I cant be sure.  If some one could confirm or deny, Also if some one could point out the 2 pin spdif that I'm supposed to plug into on my 790i ultra sli mobo it would be appreciated.  Thanks, and if for some reason the 790i doesn't have one, can I have a tissue.

    The x-Fi titanium doesn't have the proper SPDIF connector. Normally the cable if you got one, comes with the GPU not the mother board.

    Here is where. The cable is connected the same on 680i/780i/790i boards. The picture is wrong and the connector should be rotated 90 deg clockwise so it is on pins 3 and 5.

    Sorry for bumping this old thread.

    So if the previously posted photo is incorrect and I must turn clockwise from what is shown then surely this is correct? I think these are pins 3 & 5, however the diagram and what is shown on the board itself suggest the red wire should be on the other side on the center pin.
