Hey guys,

So I just bought this monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005126&cm_re=lg-_-24-005-126-_-Product

When I go to my nvidia control panel I have a 1920x1080(native) resolution at 60hz and another 1080p, 1920x1080(recommended) at 50hz.

My question is, are these both not the same?  Will I get better image quality with the 1080p recommended at 50hz or with the normal 1920x1080 native at 60hz?

Very noob question I know but I can't decide.  I am currently running at the native resolution.  Only reason why I am asking is because the word "recommended" makes me want to choose that but it drops down to 50hz.

Thanks!

    Use 1920x1080 at 60hz.

Only use the 1080p option if your are playing HDCP protected content and it wont play using your standard setting. (It might say your display isnt HDCP compatible until you use the 1080p setting)

    Stay with 60 Hz.
