Hello, I decided to examine the difference in performance when it comes to RAM in the Unigine Valley 2.0 benchmark test. I figured that it would be fun to share my results. I got an email about an awesome deal for EVGA SuperSC 16GB 2400MHz RAM for $99.99 at Micro Center. It turns out that the price was a typo and was suppose to have a $119.99 advertised price. The good news is that they honored the e-mail price for me, so that made me super happy to get 2400MHz RAM for $99.99!!! I have an i7-2600k, meaning I can only run 2133MHz. Anyway, here are my results. RIG: Thermaltake Core V71 ASRock z77 Extreme4 i7-2600k OC 4.6GHz EVGA GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0 EVGA SuperSC 2133MHz RAM Thermaltake Water 2.0 Pro Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1200W OLD RAM: 1600 Corsair Vengeance Blue Part Number: CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B • Memory Size (Total): 8GB (2pcs) • Memory Type: DDR3 • Clockspeed: 1600 MHz • Timing: 9-9-9-24 • Pin Out: 240-pin • Voltage: 1.5v • Channels: Dual • XMP Support: 1.2 NEW RAM: 2400 SuperSC DDR3 Series (16GB) Part Number: 16G-D3-2400-MR • Memory Type: DDR3 • Memory Size (Total): 16GB (2pcs) • Clockspeed: 2400 MHz (Tested at 2133MHz) • Timings: 11-13-13-31 • Voltage: 1.65V • Channels: Dual • XMP Support: 1.3 It looks like I got a 21% increase on Ultra 1080P 0XAA and 5% increase on Ultra 1080P 8XAA.

Could the difference in scores be due to you running different graphics drivers? I see on your 1600MHz ram runs, you were using driver 347.88, but when you did the runs with 2133MHz ram, you used 350.12. hmm yeah, drivers could be the reason, memory is one of those things that, as long as you have enough of it, isn't going to be a limiting factor in most cases (unless you're using something that is very memory speed focused)

1600 MHz -v- 2133 MHz and 8GB -v- 16GB of Memory. Different Graphics Drivers Different Version of Unigine Valley? But Glad to see users using the New EVGA Memory. Put your old Memory back in and run SuperPI.exe and then your New EVGA Memory and run SuperPI.exe and report the scores. Run SuperPi @ 32M SuperPi 32M: 7m 16.756s Memory at 2400MHz Same Memory One set Auto *Right one and one Set to XMP 1 @ 2133MHz No other Changes in the Bios made. 2133MHz http://www.superpi.net/Scores/24002/View 1333MHz http://www.superpi.net/Scores/24003/View

I would also like details as to who's IC chips my new evga ssc ddr3 2400 memory has please this would be helpful . when overclocking ram you need to know which IC's are being used. I have know complains with the ram its very quick and XMP worked perfectly, I saw pictures of the IC's but they didn't have any part #.

One thing to consider is that the 1600 is running tighter timings than the faster memory. My memory score stayed the same when I doubled up to 16gb, however it doesn't perform any faster because of the timings. Too bad we can't get 2400 with cas8 timings and then we'd see a performance increase.
MSI MEG Z790 ACE, Intel i9 13900k, G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32gb 6600, ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 ARGB in push/pull, Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC, EVGA Nu Audio, Samsung 990 & 980 Pro's, WD SN850X & Black hdd, FSP Hydro PTH Pro 1350W PS, Windows 11 Professional, Thermaltake Level 20 XT w/Antec Prizm X 120mm argb fans

EVGA RAM look better than Vengeance and GSkill Ripjaws... But this is invincible style. I would produce hardware with such style and design, all... and nice packages. With water cooling loop, silver, black, full black motherboards these kits are killer.
