1080ti ftw3 siege low fps 4k?

Hi guys, recently installed the 1080ti ftw 3 into my system, specs are: i5 4690k @ 4.5 on liquid, msi krait edition sli mobo & 16gb of ram. i am getting 40fps at 4k on ultra on rainbow six siege, benchmarks online show 70fps. every other game runs perfect. i have ddu on drivers and also done a fresh install of windows but same problem. any ideas?

    Its difficult to know what graphics settings others have it set on. What are you're clock speeds, temps, GPU load and CPU load when running Rainbow Siege?

    Boosting to around 1930 gpu load hits 100 cpu around 40% temps sit at 60 under load

    They dont post settings they just say 'maxed out ultra'

    I have same FTW3 1080Ti, try these settings at 1080P first

    Ultra with 8XMSAA and Post-Process AA set off

     
     

    Then set resolution to 4k with MSAA off

     
     
     

    CPU - Intel 8700K - 5.1GHz core, 5.0GHz cache, 1.37v
    GPU - EVGA FTW3 1080Ti SLI - 2.0GHz core, 12GHz memory
    Motherboard - Asus Maximus X Hero
    Memory - Corsair Dominator 4x16GB - 3000MHz default XMP 15-17-17-35
    PSU - EVGA 1600T2
    Fire Strike 36838 Extreme 25250 Ultra 14464

    So the fps i am gettin is right then, the guy on youtube must have been lying. 😂

    At 4k your FPS would be pegged at 60 with VSYNC on. I had this issue too and had to roll back drivers.

    Cant get 60fps in 4k with msaa on apparently something to do with how the post process
