So I'm extremely confused. Although the lights doesn't make or break me keeping my preorder on this card I would like to know does this card have rgb lights on the backplate as well? Also is there any other pics of this card other than what is on the website? Thanks!

I think a colored back plate could be a little bit to much and an overkill.

Maybe for some but my computer is mostly black and white with rgb accents but I really want more white where I can get it, I wouldn't mind if they atleast made the option availabe.#7

I agree with @Cyphercitix . I'm building a black and white themed system and would relish a white backplate to go along with a white shroud.

That looks amazing!! Are the lights attached to the back plate or could I use a different back plate and the lights still work?

The gray colored portions (shroud/fan area) appear to be of a sandblasted quality... not smooth. Is this the case or am I not seeing this correctly?

    Thanks...

might be the paint. Or picture quality making it look grainy.

Does the RGB on these EVGA cards do white very well?  On my 1070 Strix, the "white" setting would be pink at best.

I guess we'll know soon enough... there sure does seem to be a lot of mystery surrounding these cards.

Well after pulling out my 1080FTW ICX card and putting in my new 1080ti FE, I have to say, I miss the RGB. My case seems so void of color now. :-(

And that means that I really want to get back on the FTW train and get one of these. But they cost $1080 here in Canada. So even if I can sell my (soon to be) two 1080ti FE's for say $900, I'll still be paying another $360 to go to the FTW. I might as well just get the hybrids, or full water. Ah but then I miss out on the RGB. :-(

I'm sorry that price is brutal, be better off just buying some led strips and putting them on the card.

Jacob indicated on a podcast that they check for whiteness in quality control, but that there will be slight differences.

Ah, well at least there is a check in there.  I'm fine with it not being perfectly white, but my Strix was salmon pink when I changed it to white which was no good.

With the Power Link on the FTW3 does it cover the FTW3 logo on the right side?   I sure hope it doesn't?

I'm going to guess no because the shroud is down a ways from the power, and shouldn't block it.

I don't think it will cover it but I do think the power link or even regular cables will over shadow it a bit. Maybe not though. Card still is the best looking 1080ti I've seen!
