I received my 1080ti hybrid kit this week and had a chance to install it on my FE.  I was extremely cautious and careful.  Thanks to some fine forum members here and at OCN I was ready, had the right tools and was good to go.

I did use thermal grizzly kryonaut paste and I put enzotech forged copper heatsinks all around the pump on the mid plate.  I left the fan cable coiled up in the shroud and have the push/pull SP-120's wired directly to my fan controller.

The hybrid cooler performs better even than I expected and is dead silent compared to the FE blower.

It idles at 6 deg C above ambient (right now it's 19C in my room and idle temp is 25C).  I run the fans at 1000 rpm at desktop and when gaming or load turn them up to 1500 rpm.  Max temp after an hour of Crysis 3 at 1440p was 49C, max temp for superposition at 4K optimized was 48C.

Overall a total success in my book!
