I've been having this problem for a few weeks now across multiple games.
I'll get less than 5 minutes into the game until this happens: (see picture below). The screen will freeze on that picture, and my computer will reboot.
The only fix I have found for this is lowering my graphic setting. However, I have a GeForce 1080Ti, So I shouldn't have to lower my settings at all. I should be able to play on max settings.
I just built this PC a few months ago so I doubt it could be a hardware issue on my end, I think it might be a driver issue. Anyone experienced this before/know what I should do?

Thanks!

Classic indications of GPU memory errors. RMA the GPU. You can also test this by reducing the memory clock using Precision or Afterburner to see if it eliminates or reduces the artifacts. Less likely is your PSU.

Agree with HeavyHemi, your card is dying.  It happens, and it sucks when it does.  I do hope you have a more than adequate power supply so that your replacement lives for a long time.

I have a 850W PSU, which I’m pretty sure is enough. I just got the card 4 months ago, so hopefully it’s just a faulty card.

You might have an '850 watt' PSU, but not all PSU's are created equal. I've seen '850 watt' PSU's that were only putting out a 'max' of 550 watts on the +12v. Who knows what it really was.
Also, a PSU can go bad and they also lose capacity as they age. The indications of that can also mimic other hardware being faulty.  Having a digital volt meter around is handy as software readings are unreliable. I'm not dissing your power supply, (I don't know what it is) but just be aware of those factors.

I’m already in the process of RMA’ing the card. The PSU is about 4 months old.

I 'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing issues with your games freezing and your computer rebooting after a few minutes of gameplay. To address games freezing and computer reboots, update your graphics drivers, check for overheating, verify game files, adjust graphics settings, monitor hardware usage, keep your operating system updated, and scan for malware. If the issue persists, provide specific details about the games, hardware specifications, and error messages for further assistance.
