So iv been reading about ppl using the XOC BIOS on 1080 ti's to remove the power limit and get better overclocks, have any of u guys tried this method with this card?
Heres a link http://www.overclock.net/...bios-your-1080-ti.html
Yep I tried it. I still get higher bench scores on the stock BIOS. I've an FE with a Hybrid I put on it, so mine is pretty much an analog for your Gaming Hybrid. It will also affect how the blower fan on the GPU operates. It makes it run at a slower RPM so, if you want to keep your memory and PWM airflow, you'll need to increase the fan speed. TL;DR...it was a waste of time.
Well i guess i must be lucky then, cause i change the bios and everything is stable now, no more random drops on my OC and my vcore is steady at 1063mV :-)
