Warning for B&H Photo orders, they will have weird hours coming up for passover. Might delay your 1080ti depending on when they get stock.

If I was to go for an EVGA FE + Hybrid Cooler, the total price would by £860, but no EU release date on the Ti Hybrid cooler.
 
Also now that we have send the specs of the FE also the FTW cards. Gaming at 1440p 165hz, I7 7700k, How big of an overclock/FPS would I get with the FTW card?. I have been waiting for the FTW Hybrid announcement/release date, but not sure if its worth it for basic overclocking.

Can someone help me out? Every since they went out of stock when they first arrived, I've been waiting for them to come back in stock. Last night I guess they did and it was the one night I went to bed early and did not check my email. Now I'm SOL.

I can't run this card on air. It gets way too hot and too loud if I turn the fans up. I desperately need water cooling. I really hope someone can help me out here.



EDIT: anyone know how long till B&H photo gets the hybrid 1080ti coolers in stock? I understand it's pre order right now but usually a company tells you what date they will have a pretty order item in stock and I'm not seeing it anywhere. That along with passover hours is making me not want to order from them.

Well, you can either go custom water cooling and do a ton of research before taking the leap or you can look and see if Corsair and NZXT will come out with a hybrid cooler kit as they have in the past.  Corsair hasn't come out with anything since GTX 980 and NZXT since GTX 1080.  I think NZXT might be a better bet since they have a recent adaptation to the GTX 1080.  Better yet, I would actually get a hold of NZXT and ask them if their G10 kit is compatible with the GTX 1080 Ti.

if you haven't made a 1080Ti purchase yet, on the french Amazon site, if you sign up for a prime/premium free trial, you get 100 euros off. This translates to roughly £610-615 for a FE card, few brands are being stocked within a week. I also expect sea hawk to be stocked within a day or two for £699 after the promotions applied. Just make sure you actually choose items that are "sold and shipped from amazon" and dont have a "seller is not delivering to mainland uk" warning. You need to get google chrome translate most pages, but the hassle is worth the £100-200 saving you can end up with :) Promotions runs until the 9th, by which time i am sure we will either see the Hybrid kit for EU or the sea hawk in stock.

Anything higher then 2000mhz is probably negligible as far as fps  increase. From what I notice the most performance increase is from 1600 to 2000.
