1080 Hybrid vs 1080 FTW Hybrid water block for 1080Ti FE

Hi evga team and members, 
 
Will 400-HY-5188-B1 or 400-HY-5288-B1 works as good on 1080Ti FE, if i only want to use the water block?

Water block seem the same besides the FTW hybrid has a difference with separate memory plate and vrm heatsink.
 
Because 1080 hybrid kit is no stock at Amazon and its price went back same as FTW hybrid which is in stock. 
 
1080Ti hybrid is even scare and no reason 50 bucks more if water block is same.

    You cannot use an FTW(2 or 3 as well) anything on an FE as the FTW Cards are an Inch or More Higher than the FE Model Cards.

    Thanks for make the reply. Is the water block plate height higher because of the vram plate? Can we remove it and just use the cold plate?

    Because 1080 hybrid​ kit still no stock in Amazon
