Hello everyone,

Just got my 1080 Classified yesterday, so I thought I might put some benchmarks together based on my current PC configuration before I tear it apart this weekend, change out some SSD's, case swap, etc.
Tested Cards:
1. EVGA GTX 980TI SC (1x and 2x Sli)
2. EVGA GTX 1080 Classified

Overclock Settings:
980TI's - +150 GPU Offset/ +225 Memory Offset      (Single Card boosting to 1504 Mhz core/1884 Memory) - (SLI boosting to 1430 MHz core/1867 Memory)  - Overclocking in Precision X16
1080 Classified - +80 GPU Offset / +750 Memory Offset (Boosting to 2101 MHz Core/ 1440 (5760 mhz memory in Precision) - Overclocking in Precision OCX

CPU - 5820 - Boosting to 4.4 ghz

Couple of things I noticed was that my scores/avg fps for all of my tests on the 1080 classified both stock and overclocked weren't wildly different by any stretch of the imagination.  Everything was within a few FPS.  Obviously bigger differences between the 980TI and the Classified.

I am trying to get ahold of a second Classified so I can see what SLI looks like compared to 980TI sli.  Since I have sometime before I need to return the Classy if I decide to just stick with the TI's, I am going to reformat my entire machine (hasn't been done in about a year anyway) for the new SSD's and bench again and see if things change.

I will say that I think there is something up with the Heaven benchmark.  The classified and 980TI seem way to close to one another when compared head to head as single cards.

Also, all of these tests were done on the latest drivers.

So I went ahead and cleared my drivers out, reinstalled everything nice and clean driver wise.  I have not reformatted windows as of yet.

Is the core not stable over +80mhz on the classy?

On my classy over +80 is a crash.  Now at +80, the gpu will boost to 2101 and hold there for a bit before it settles down around 2088.  It does fairly well compared to one of my 980TI's in a single card configuration.  When we get into sli, it's about 4000 points behind in firestrike extreme.

Still undecided as to whether or not I will be keeping the card and continuing to run my 980TI sli.  I have been keeping my eye on microcenter to see if a second classified comes into stock or even an open box.

As an aside, for those who are running 1080's in SLI, are you seeing a performance increase with the HB sli bridge versus say the EVGA SLI Bridge Pro V1 (first generation of EVGA enthusiast bridge).  I am just curious if I would benefit from picking up a new V2 or HB bridge or if my existing V1 bridge would be fine.
