Hello!

I currently have NZXT H440 housing my 6700K and 1080 Classified but im getting bored of the case and was looking for windowed cases preferably with tempered glass. I think I will buy the s340 Elite and was wondering if any1 here in the forums have the s340/s340 Elite and what kind of temperatures you experience mainly on your GPU. My concern is that I have to mount the AIO in the front hence blow "hot" air over the graphics card which in the H440 raise GPU temps with 6-7C compared to mounting the AIO in the top as exhaust.

If you have this the s340/s340 Elite and an EVGA 1080 ACX 3.0, what kind of temperatures do you get(GPU,CPU) and with what kind of cooling set up(AOI, aircooler, fans, fan speed) and doing what(gaming, benchmarking, stresstesting)?

Best case scenario is if any1 has a 6700K @4,5Ghz, 1080 Classified(stock), s340 Elite and can report temperatures with ambient listed. I play mostly BF1 which loads both GPU and CPU heavily.

Ofc any1 who has the s340 Elite or the s340 are welcome to post their experience with this case :D

Hi Keidj, I recently upgraded my case from a S340 to a Phanteks evolve tempered glass edition.
Originally on my S340 with my Corsair H115i I found my gpu hitting around 78*C whilst playing BF1. I realised that the restricted and only fresh air flow through the H115i wasn't helping any. I decided to fit 2 more fans (avg 1200rpm) in front of the rad in a push/pull configuration to add more forced air flow onto my gpu. This averaged a 3-5*C drop on the gpu as well as helping the cpu temps. Overall I was fairly pleased with this set up.

Phanteks Evolve ATX TG / Asus Z170 Pro / I7 6700K delid-Liquid Pro / Corsair H115i push-pull / 32gb Corsair 3000mhz / Asus Strix 1080 A8G / 3 x Samsung Evo 500gb / Seasonic Prime Titanium 850w / ASUS ROG PG279

Im thinking of buying the s340, getting rid of the AIO and buying an AIRcooler. Not that fuzzy bout the temps on the CPU.

NZXT S340 Black & Red :
- x2 140*140 BeQuiet! Pure Wings2 on the front as intake
- x2 120*120 default NZXT on the top and rear as exhaust

EVGA GTX 1080 SC ACX 3.0 :
- New bios
- Without thermal pads

i5-6600k :
- Stock
- Cooled by BeQuiet! Dark Rock 3

Temps while gaming (Overwatch, GTA V)
- The CPU does not exceed 50°C
- The GPU jumps to 75°C with 75% fans around 1700RPM

Thansk guys! Your posts convinced me :) Got the case 1 week ago and not looking back to H440...
I love the "small" case but big enough to fit all components and it has sharp edges, Im alergic to cases with round edges
Temps on the CPU @4.5Ghz with front mounted H110i gtx is 58C on the package and the 1080 Classified maxes out at 63C playing BF1. Couldnt be more satisfied.

Just to think about for others if buying this case is that its pretty tight between the front window and 1080 Classifieds power connectors, something that a POWER LINK would fix but then you cant do push/pull front radiator.

Here is what it looks like:

Looks awesome !

Is your Classified modded with the thermal pads and the updated Vbios (or custom fan curve) ? 63°C at full load is really good !
Weird mounting for the SSD though, but still a sexy build :)

EDIT : is that a custom side pannel ?
EDIT 2 : apparently you've bought the Elite version which I ignored the existence lol

Thank you! :)

Nope, havent done the thermal mod and im not planning to either, I ordered the pads though just in case. These temps are with 21,5C ambient and 1500rpm on all case fans. I dont hear s**t with headphones on. If i set fans to 1200rpm GPU maxes out at 67-68C The "new" SSD mount is for s340 Elite, so with this case you can "showcase" 3 SSDs if you have that many :D Side panel isnt modded but I spray painted the panel screws, SSD screws, PCI brackets, Corsair AIO plastic details, fan filter on the top and the home made GPU anti-sag-pole made out of bamboo. The Corsair LED RAM stick are blood red, looks very nice  But most of all I like the way my Classified take up ALL the space
