dolkgabriel I was just trying to help you troubleshoot the problem. No need to be a little child.
No you weren't. I don't see any useful information about why this motherboard doesn't recognize my pcie intel 750 when the memory is set at 3000 Mhz.

yup at 1.04. let me know what happens. what capacity did you get? if i change the memory to 3000Mhz it's like it doesn't even initialize. i also duplicated the issue if I kept the memory stock at below 3000 Mhz and upped the bclk.

btw here's a pic of the cover issue previously stated. it's fairly obvious nothing fits in slot one with it attached...

I only could imagine how this board could look with waterblocks. AMAZING. And she worth investment in waterblock. 1. New Platform 2. Newest Memory 3. Stronger Chipset even than X99 For next 3 years customer don't need to worry for nothing. If 6 cores not become standard everything is OK. Even than with i7 HT Link could help a lot. Even PLX Chips is there and really no worry for PCIe lanes. I was very angry when people recommend i7-4790K now over so good Z170 platform only because 200MHz better Turbo. Like they are not K processors and easy for overclocking.

3000 is a big problem, EVGA please fix. Setting ram to this speed resulted in four angry beeps from the mobo and a black screen. Could not get back into bios until I did cmos

did you up the vccio and vsa? also if you keep your memory underclocked can you overclock the BCLK at all?

I set bios to xmp setting of 3000, don't know if that auto updates the settings you mentioned or not. I'm not trying to overclock the bclk until my new AIO water comes.

OK so the latest BIOS didnt help. I ended up ordering an ASUS MAXIMUS VIII Extreme. Everything works flawlessly on this motherboard. Going to submit an RMA.
