All depends on the work units one pulls had one the other day that took 32 seconds per frame the Titan X made short work of that.

I would go Hydro.  You can overclock it up since it runs cooler if you decide to.    I am doing 1million PPD with a 980Ti and 980.  Both O/C versions.  Planning on getting a Pascal and to move the 980 to my other box to replace my old Titan on Folding.

The hybrid is definitely a better choice, unless the user is going to buy waterblocks. The hybrid will keep its highest boost clocks while under full load, where the classified may drop a bin or two because of Temps.

My new Hybrid tucked neatly between my air cooled 980ti's.
Definitely the best way to go, or go full water cooling.

Ohh, nice set-up Steve!!! Lucky the mid card is watercooled, or it would be HOT. I personally love a custom water cooling loop, but the Hybrid does a nice job too.

I am currently writing from my PC with a lone air cooled 980, that is quite LOUD folding away. Can't wait to get my main PC back up, with a pair of nice an quiet water cooled 980's. Water cooling has me spoiled. LOL

Yes notfordman, the temps were not nice for the middle GPU. Were about 20's hotter for the 970 that was sitting in that spot.....
I see some water cooling coming in my future, when those Pascal GPU's start to be released....

Yes, water cooling spoils us completely.....
