Out of curiousity how many times have you installed it? Where did you have it installed, rear exhaust or top? I am just trying to gauge these things lifespans. As they are a nice cooler, I question the quality of components.

The pump died I assume? Try plugging the pump power wire into a diff connector on your motherboard?

Well, at least your H70 didn't leak like mine......I'm also on the stock Intel cooler right now.

Hething, doesn't your H70 have an alarm to notify you if anything goes wrong?  That is one of the things I love about my Vantage.  The display shows both pump and fan RPM, it also shows coolant temp and will alarm if either the pump of fan fails and will also alarm if the coolant temp gets too high.

If corsair doesn't take care of you on this, I recommend the Vantage since you already have 3 OMNI's.  I'm still hoping that they will come out with that Maestro software.

No I dont.. I sold my good old CoolerMaster V10 - the best aircooler I've ever had. I got this H70 as replacement for the V10. Now Im using the intel stockcooler and im not overwhelmed. It doesn't like any kind of OC.. So there will be no folding for me until I get this H70 back from RMA which will be about 2 weeks..
There was no warnings. Last night I went to the kitchen to get a coke and when I got back to my PC it was turned off?? so I tried to restart it but It wouldn't.. So I waited 2 min or something like that and I tried again.. This time I got it to post and bios was showing a warning about high CPU-temp. It turned off by itself again.. I took off the sidecover on my 800D and I immediately noticed a wierd sound. The sound can best be described as a fast clicking sound. Just like if you're instantly pulling the trigger on a toy pistol with an empty chamber. Very wierd.

Probably 6 weeks ago I reinstalled in another position. In the last six weeks it has been mounted at the rear of the case. Before that it was topmounted. Yes, I've tried it connected in different places on the motherboard. But I used to use my fancontroller to manage it. The Lamptron FC4. I bought this H70 on the 17th of september 2010. I also think that the pump died. And yes it performed very well.

I saw you thread back a while and therefore I immediately pulled out the cooler as I cant afford new GPUs.. Im not going to claim anything from Corsair. At least at this time. I bought the cooler from a internetbases retailseller and I spoked with them today and they will be taking care of if. But It will take up to two weeks before my pc is fully back into buisness.. unfortunately the guy from the company said.

No, the Corsair H70 do not have any alarmsystem as far as I know. I will definately look into this vantage cooler. How does it perform compared to the H70? Do you have the vantage cooler with 120mm rad or the one with 240mm rad?

I have the 120mm version.  From what I have read, it performs on par with the H70.  Even better if you upgrade the stock fan and/or run it in Push/Pull.  I really like it.  Here is a review I did on it.

I know that dust on the radiator fan can greatly increase temps. I removed all the dust that gathered on my fan with my H50 and it dropped my temps by 20 degrees ! lol!

I use the H50 and have it alarmed via my ASUS motherboard software (PC Probe).  If the pump stops the alarm sounds however from what you described, once the pump dies the PC will shut down within minutes.

That's a nice review.. thanks.. I'll try if I can find some comparison on the 120mm rad vs the 240mm rad (vantage)..

I would think so.  I was about to tell you that they only made the ECO in a 240 version.  The Vantage only came in a 120mm version.

I've been reading some forums in the last 2hrs.. It seems like the H70 performs equal to the other coolers (Omni-coolers) but it is more safe to use.

Another problem is that if I go with the 240 ECO I need a spot to mount it.. i got a 800D with 4 120mm mounting spot but if I go with the 240ECO i'll end up needing 5 120mm spot hence modding is required..
