GTS 450 - Nvidia Driver problem :( Weird graphical errors!

Hi there!

It happened a few minutes ago. Well, I played StarCraft - Brood War for about an hour and just as soon as I closed the game and went back to desktop, some weird graphical errors appeared all of a sudden. I immediately shutted down the PC. After that, everything went back to normal and the error message popped up: "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." My GPU temp at that time was 35 which is perfectly okay! Before I installed the card, I had used DriverSweeper.

My specs:

Windows 7 32-Bit
PSU - Gigabyte ODIN 585W (Total amps on dual 12v rails - 34A)
E6550 2.3GHz OCed to 2.8GHz (stable)

Please tell me what caused it :( My card temps - 35 - idle/70 - load.

    If its the first time it happened, its probably nothing to get excited about.  It could also be a Star Craft compatibility issue.  The game is very old now.  Have tried Win7's compatibility settings?

    Yes, it's the first time I saw this problem. I ran 3DMark Vantage last night. It went well. Well, beforing installing the latest driver for the card, I ran DriverSweeper to remove the old driver (for my old 8600GT). I didn't run it in safe mode. Maybe it's the cause.
     
    As for StarCraft/Compatibility settings, Yes, always.
     
    I will now test my card more in an attempt to reproduce the error so I can understand what exactly went wrong with it/its driver.

    If its benchmarking well.  And, not glitching in other games and apps.  I would say it is (most likely) a StarCraft issue with newer hardware.

    Yeah, I think so :D I could not reproduce the error :( I tried to repeat what I did in order to make this problem appear again. That's weird!!!!! :( I guess I need to wait for the latest WHQL nvidia driver before reformatting my PC (This will be 3rd time :D)
